some times you have to flash the fields.... Plug in a drill and spin it by hand...... Cheers

My neighbor told me he might buy a generator for hurricanes, and blackouts. I told him to be sure to get one that can run on propane, because propane can be stored forever. They don't cost that much more. I pay extra for ethanol free gasoline here in Louisiana because of the super high humidity which ethanol loves. Unless the fuel system is pressurized, the ethanol in the gasoline will attract water from the humid air. You need to put a piece of masking tape on the generator tank with, 'Drain ALL fuel out after use', written on it.

Usually the brushes and AVR boxes go bad on those kinds of generators. Those AVR'S are like A CDI box for scooters,mopeds four wheelers,Dirt Bikes,an etc. that takes and use those also. I just was watching what you we're saying and showing. And that came to my mind about it.

Tom I believe it's A possibility that the brushes.,or if it's A digital readout gauge it's the AVR box is bad. It's what is called the Automatic voltage regulator rectifier box. Which controls the voltage going through both sets of power output poles. For 240/220/120 volts for whatever capacity and capabilities it comes with from the factory stock.

Good to see you brother. Glad yall made it out safe day 6 without power here. We have lost all of our food no gas stations or restaurants open yet just 2 gas stations finally slowly getting resources like grocery stores but they set limits people hoarding fuel food and ice not enough to go around. Hope to have power back soon. Definitely going to invest in a generator after this.

That's my guess on what's not allowing it to put out power now. I'd check for fuses and another clear reset switch on that front surface face panel plate to.

That green one you might need to flash the field with a drill. Plug in an electric drill and spin it manually to excite the field. That Stader probably doesn’t have magnets
