I got one a couple of weeks ago in Australia. Sold my nx Lexus and am soooooooo happy with the genesis. It’s actual;y smaller than it looks. The big haunches are deceptive. It’s 6 inches shorter than my nx. So much good tech and so much luxury. We got digital side mirrors which are fantastic as they have zoom and various things superimposed on the screens for safety. I charge it at home with the level 2 charger installed at no cost by genesis. 5 years free service too.

Genesis GV60 beat Tesla Model Y Performance, BMW iX xDrive 50, and Ford Mustang Mach-E GT P.E. in a quarter-mile race. Genesis GV60 = 12.30 seconds Tesla Model Y = 12.33 seconds BMW iX xDrive = 12.4 seconds Mustang Mach-E GT P.E. = 12.6 seconds The crystal sphere made GV60 seem more futuristic. It is luxurious and unique. Perhaps, Genesis' signature for interior. Either way, it's a new idea of an elevated style. Most people love it! GV60 have too many cool features, including facial recognition to unlock/lock, and fingerprint scan to identify the driver and turn on the vehicle with custom settings. After the scans, you'll never need your key anymore. Tesla brag about using phones as its key, but GV60 only need you. However, the key is also a remote controller to move GV60 forward or backward when other vehicles park too close for the driver to enter and doesn't want to scratch the doors. It doesn't turn on the vehicle, but the key can still move it slowly. The key can also be used for self-parking, even from a 90 degree angle to the parking spot, and it works great in city parking blocks. Sometimes, it's better to park after the driver exits. It's a multifunctional key, remote controller. The charging port can also be used to charge other electrical vehicles, phones, laptops, cooking grills, sleeping bags, and even a refrigerator during power outage. It's not only used to charge the vehicle. It can get charged from 10% to 80% in only 18 minutes. Impressive. The Boost button grants 55 extra horsepower for 10 seconds. For the best result, press it while you're flooring the acceleration during a race. That is when you'll truly notice the difference. People admit that it definitely helped during close races. It's pointless to use the Boost during normal driving because the vehicle isn't even accelerating fast in the first place. During a race, what else can you do after you step down the acceleration? Boost! It's cool how it talks to the driver with a robotic-ish/human voice, such as when charging. It's classy. The list goes on. I love the exterior design, especially the front. It looks sporty/luxurious and a bit futuristic. That "lightning⚡️ or Z" shape behind the side-rear windows symbolizes electricity, stating "I'm an electric vehicle." It wasn't random. The screen offers 3-d view of the vehicle to change/seek. It can also show a third-person view of your GV60 from the outside. This helps for the driver to be completely aware of its surroundings. I'm seriously thinking about trading my Porsche Cayenne for it after one more year.

Looking at the base models; a Kia EV6 starting at £44,195 (similar battery size), an Hyundai Ioniq 5 £41,900 (58KWh battery) or £45,500 (upgrade to similar battery) versus a GV60 for £47,005. You're getting a premium brand and package for between £1,500 and £5,000 extra (ok warranty not quite as good five years vs seven), so it seems like a good deal at the bottom of the range. I've ordered one and can't wait for it to arrive.

I have the Genesis Electrified G80, which along with the Mercedes EQE are the only two EV executive saloons on sale in the UK. Whilst the EQE is just under £90k fully loaded, the EG80 is a relative bargain at around £80k. I come from owning Jaguar's for some twenty years, and my last car a Maserati Ghibli. The Genesis honestly has those brands beaten!

We took one for a test drive. It was fine, but not £68k fine (as per our test car). We currently have a 2018 Model X. The Genesis is slightly quieter, slightly better over the bumps but nowhere near as good as I had hoped. Obviously the X is massive and we love the boot, but we're looking to downsize. The Genesis didn't feel much smaller around town and its boot is pretty tiny.

EV6 for me, but I am very biased because I have one. I am sure they will sell reasonably well, there is still a snobbish dislike for the Kia/Hyundai badge, so the Genesis badge is like the Lexus badge and moves it away from the main stream Toyota/Kia/Hyundai.

In the new world KIA is the new Audi, even better and different. Prejudices and image can change quickly. In our county when Skoda was sold first, nobody wanted one, now they sell more than mother Volkswagen and are also the better choice if ever. Hyundai and Kia have a good reputation for reliable and inexpensive cars with long warranty. i think it started out because, a decade ago, EVs cost a lot more to make (mostly because the batteries still hadn't hit the economies of scale yet). So at the time it was impossible to build an EV that would suit its own price tag if it didn't include all the extras and toys and sell in the "premium" or "luxury" segments. But now we're getting very close to getting the true no-frills basic, inexpensive EVs. China's already got them, and I think within about 2-5 years they will be available (and made) globally.

£71K as per car shown is way too much in my view. The 10 second boost button a gimmick for a car that would be at 60mph in 4 seconds anyway. The artifical sounds another gimmic, I would enjoy the serene quiteness it does offer instead. In all a jump up from EV6 or I5 but a even bigger jump in price. Probably won't hold its value so well compared to known brands so could be a decent 2nd hand buy in 2 or 3 years.

Judging from the values I can see on the used market it seems to be a good 2nd hand deal after 12 months already. Used car market is down across the board of course, not just for the GV60. But the lack of hype around the GV60 does not seem to help the used car values.

My dear, was iPhone better than legacy brands Nokia, Sony, Motorola or BlackBerry? So you have your answer. After Tesla the Hyundai Group - as a legacy for good cheap cars with long warranty - just is now the new Audi and playing in another league. Genesis GV60, IONIQ 5 and soon 6, as well as my EV6 AWD are outstanding and cars following the legacy in style of a Lancia, Jaguar E-Type, Austin Healey and other iconic cars. I was driving many Mercedes, BMW, Citroen SM and CX at a time when they too where NOT BORING. I never wanted cars for everybody without personality and unique engineering. The usual Joe however wants seemingly uniform and stupid SUV boxes. After Tesla the Koreans did everything right and found a perfect balance between tradition and future so that drivers who can afford feel instantly at home. Tesla for me after 54 years of driving is a little too extreme and has too much gimmicks I would never use. After having the opportunity to drive all EVs in that class including also Mercedes EQE I got my EV6 AWD 77,4 kWh with full house in May and never would change again if it would not be the GT. My friend has now a GV60 Sport Plus and enjoys special service. I like it to see my dealer and get new information first hand. Everybody is well served. By the way at my Golf Club there are still more S3XY-cars but just a few old legacy makes from the past.😂🤓😎 People like my Kia when they see the details and adore the style of Genesis reaching for the top luxury segment. Many friends and business people do not anymore define themselves by car brands, especially when they all cost double an triple the price for less than the same!

John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

LOVE the matte paint but hate those fussy wheels 🛞🤢 oh, and why do brands insist on having “boost” buttons? stepping on the accelerator is the traditional way of telling the car you want full power

Most likely two reasons: 1: It functions as a marketable gimmick 2: The car can achieve that top acceleration, but it's not sustainable to repeatedly do hence why the top acceleration is reserved for special function
