Peter Gabriel the greatest GENIUS of the MUSIC of the last YEARS...!!!???...
@angeloraddi3974 жыл бұрын
Caro Antonio gli altri non erano da meno 5 cazzo di geni e comunque pure rimanendo i generis il mio gruppo progressive preferito i geni all'epoca straboccavano in quasi tutti i generi musicali !
@baco823 жыл бұрын

I've given up all hope on the world now. This song tells you the main reason why- endless war and bloodshed for no cause at all just to murder and destroy soldiers for no reason and without anyone to explain to their loved ones and families if there was a reason why they died. They are heroes for surviving the few who make it. Genesis were the band I hated the most because I was terrified of them when I was 14/15. You see, I'd grown up in the early 80s with all the commercial rubbish Mama and on from there. I knew nothing about Peter's writing and stage shows and vocals then. 20 years ago it all fell into place at age 18 years old and it's been LOVE LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! THEM! EVER SINCE! If you listen to the early Phil Collins vocals and songs with an open enough mind it also is great, but the sparkle faded away after ABACAB. That was commercial, but there was still something cooking. All hope was lost with MAMA, INVISIBLE TOUCH. This wasn't Genesis anymore. Genesis are a rock and roll prog rock band not wimpy jokey annoying cliched empty throwaway pop rubbish, but that's what they became!

@SynthOSphere9 жыл бұрын
+Jake Fronckowiak This is the final encore they did at the end of a whole show, so they only did the last part of that song. Genesis loved to finish their shows with that song. It is an unusually violent song for them, as demonstrated by Gabriel completely loosing it on stage, even throwing the microphone boom at the end (a historic precursor of 'Dropping the mike' ??). As a matter of fact, this very same song is the last one ever played live by the "real" Genesis (Gabriel, Rutherford, Banks, Hackett and Collins), at the very end of their unique get-together show in 1982.

Also, how do you even fuck up with such a basic, observable fact as in it being the band's original lineup? They started the band as four schoolboys - Peter Gabriel who would end up mainly doing lead vocals; Tony Banks doing organ and piano; Anthony Philips who would end up with the guitar; and Mike Rutherford who would end up mainly doing bass, then some guitar. Now, can you tell me... does From Genesis to Revelation feature drums? Yes, it does, does it not? So how can they have drums IF NO ONE PLAYS THE FUCKING DRUMS?
