I was there. Horribly wet. Scary mud bath in the Bowl. Great to see the boys, though. In my memory, Steve Hackett got the biggest cheer of the night when he came on towards the end.

I was there, three of us under an umbrella , I still have the t-shirt, amazing day, will never forget it, we missed Steve coming on for the encore but heard him being introduced as we trudged back to my Mk 1 Ford Escort in the mud, shame he did not play on more of the gig, such memories , brings a tear, thanks for this and the 10cc gems, the solo Steve stuff and more, gives me a buzz but also sadness at the passing of time and some people

This is a better recording than the one I have had for many years (which was on vinyl). I also love the way the person writing on the TDK cassette insert copied the Genesis and PG logo style - just the kind of thing I used to do! 😄

......the reason this has me hooked is I have some 200 cassette tapes wrapped in a box myself which haven't seen the light of day since the late 80's and apart from the obvious and evident taste belonging to Sean, one of the labours of love was writing the band name lettering as per their artwork on the inner card sleeve.... Without mistakes 😂 This has evoked so many memories!!!! Thanks Sean.

I can't thank you enough for this. I was there and I can say it was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. Peter Gabriel had a huge stage presence and the rest of the band were just the best.

Ah yes - the famous tape that captures the delight of some of the fans at JK's intro to the show, this does sound better than the copy I have though - cheers again, and yes I was there too - right at the back at the top of the bank - got just as soaked through

Some of the loudest cheers were heard when the Talk Talk drummer was successfully hit by water bottles. Whoever thought pairing them into this occasion clearly hadn’t done their homework.
