In 99% of situations I'd say mega. But in this very specific situation I'd say regular. Just because cursed body can mess things up While shadow tag will do nothing here since there's no switching out anyway

I've always loved the regular gengar, it looks cool and it hits hard. i wish that levitate was still it's primary ability with cursed body being it's hidden ability, but cursed body is one of my favorite abilities in the game. i'm rooting for team gengar in metromania but if they lose, i hope ambipom takes the tournament.

Aw man, this one's hard! Gengar is my favorite Ghost-type, and while its Mega looks super cool and is so useful it got banned to Ubers, regular Gengar's design is so full of personality and nostalgia and it's actually still pretty good to use. I use Gengar on my Bendy and the Ink Machine team to represent Bendy, one of my Cuphead teams to represent the Devil, and one of my Touhou Project teams to represent Yuyuko.

I live in a really small town in mexico, none of my friends played videogames and the ones that did played only SNES games. So no one to trade my haunter with. For me, regular gengar is better. He is much less menacing than his mega. I liked him because he is a trickster and a little mischievous but not so full of malice like his mega. I would always be fearful of the mega form. Sure for the games mega is much better but from a character standpoint I prefer regular.
