Genie Micro is an all-in-one smart remote for mirrorless and DSLR cameras, allowing you to control your camera from our intuitive smartphone app.
Simply slide into the hot shoe, connect your camera and pair with the app. Control ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed without touching your camera for shake free ramped or even holy grail time-lapses.
Using the USB interface on your camera, you can easily add remote operation. Stop and start video recordings to speed up production and maintain physical distance on set, or use remote triggering for steady stop motion.
With integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the device can operate from 10 metres away and can be wirelessly updated as new functionality is developed.
Please note: An additional Shutter Link Cable is required for standard triggering.
Camera control requires the USB cable that comes with your camera. Please check the compatibility chart to see if your camera is compatible: bit.ly/camera_...

Hey Jerwin - there shouldn't be anything stopping you going less than one second interval on the current app and hardware! If you're having trouble setting this, please send us a support email so we can step you though with photos.

Put me down as another in the Sony camp and also Blackmagic; any chance the OG BMPCC might ever make the grade for support too? I far prefer the colour science of the OG BMPCC to the 4K or 6K versions!

Does the genie micro need to sit on the camera hotshoe to work properly, or is it just a convenient place to sit it during a shoot?

Auto ramping would require a built-in light meter or utilize the camera metering. Camera manufacturers are hesitant to give complete access to their proprietary firmware beyond a basic shoot function.

Yesssss!! I can’t wait to get this. I’ve been looking forward to a simple wireless controller to fit in with the rest of my Syrp products. Looks brilliantly simple, as always.

Hello. Please tell me, Geni mini 2 can control the shutter release of an Android or IOS smartphone. Not a DSLR camera shutter, but a smartphone shutter. I know that a smartphone can be controlled by Geni Mini 2. It is important to me whether Genius mini, after setting parameters with one smartphone, can send a trigger to the smartphone's camera? Thank you sincerely.

Dear Syrp, i am the owner of Genie 2 pan tilt. Buying it, I had an assurance from you that in future updates I will receive functionality like day to night time lapse. Now I understand that for this purpose I need to buy a new device - Genie micro. I am asking you for your opinion on the subject. Thanks in advance! Ivo
@SyrpLab
@SyrpLab 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ivo, no need to buy the Genie Micro to get camera control on your Genie II Pan Tilt, just update your app released in the last few days and you will also be able to control your camera. Please note compatibility only with Canon and Nikon cameras. Check syrp.co for more.

Hey Akkarpark. The RIII isn't currently compatible with USB C camera control however will still work without setting control with a shutter release cable. You can find compatibility info on this page here support.syrp.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360002164096-Camera-Control-Compatibility

I am owner of your GENIE MINI II pan tilt and very interested in "holy gral" auto-ramping. I need the function for my CANON EOS IV and FUJIFILM XT-4. Do I need the GENIE MICRO? Can I hope for auto-ramping? Can I hope for implementing the FUJIFILM XT-4?
@SyrpLab
@SyrpLab 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Bernward, this is already implemented now for Genie MIni II and your EOS IV. For Fuji it will take longer to implement. In terms of automating the process it's a feature we will work on but for now you can control the settings manually during your time-lapse
