Started boxing 5 weeks ago. Absolutely love it , today was my first sparring session and I ate a lot more punches then I landed. It was great. @@ethanallen2233 keep at it my man ! I especially recommend starting sparring if you have other new guys to train with. It’s good to spar against everyone at all levels , the elites shouldn’t go too hard on you and you’ll learn a lot off sparring them especially foot work and feints I’ve found

@@way_of_water thanks heaps ! My usual schedule at the moment is 2 hours a day at the gym , Monday, Tuesday , Thursday. Wednesday 1 hour sparring. Some Fridays fitness and skill work. I’ve put my name down for a fight in March next year , a lot of hard work to put in to get ready for this fight and I can’t wait. Beautiful sport ! A lot of black eyes and blood noses to come 👊🏼 go well and keep at it too 👌🏼

On GGG using your head on the inside is something wrestler do because your body follows your head so you control where the body moves. something my wrestling coach taught me.

Duran was a much more complete fighter than he sometimes gets credit for. His inside game was top-notch, but he could box at any range in order to get to his preferred range. He also had great defense which helps as to why he's still so sharp today.

28:08 this bit with Andre ward really hit home as a martial artists my base is and forever will be boxing, I started doing Muay Thai and mma a year ago and everyone knows me as an awkward fighter I can do a traditional Thai stance but I always wanted to bring more boxing into my style since I’m comfortable with it and understand well but I did have to drop some mannerisms like having my front leg dug in since it’s now a venerability Bruce lee was way ahead of his time since his teachings are still relevant

Just before 18 minutes, Floyd actually moved with the punch to the face he anticipated, although the commentator says it was punching him square in the face. A minimal blow. The key punch in that sequence was the final one where the faint was set up to the left to Floyd's face. Slow mo, watch it.

Great video as always. Another thing I realised abt canelo is when you see him talking abt digging in the hook especially to the left to the body he uses the distraction from what Mike Tyson was saying at the start. canelo will throw a right uppercut to the head to get you to cover up your head and expose your side then come round with that digging hook to the body
