You know, as an artist, I can tell you that the video really made me feel better.And your illustrations are marvelous)) Never consider the number of likes as the value of your work, it's wrong p.s. social media is stupid.

I am not an artist. However, I follow and try to support some, and they are all struggling. I have been looking every now and then to see what can help them. I fully agree with the it's not you it is the platforms

Yeah I think most are feeling adrift right now. Hopefully things get better!

The feeling of plateauing on social media and lack of meaningful engagement was what ultimately drove me off most platforms. The AI flood was the final nail in the coffin. I've seen moderate success on Pillowfort and just joined Cara. It's just sad that these alternatives have such shaky longterm funding at the moment.

Yeah it’s true. I really like Cara for the art community and not seeing AI art that is rehashing the same old stuff. But I also saw how they need donations to keep it running. I do a lot of cross posting only because it’s easy but I just don’t get engagement except for tiktok and KZbin.

Coco is such a great field reporter. Jokes aside, i admire how positive you are about social media even when it feels like a hecken toilet at times. I really hope we can get a good social media home out of both Cara and Bluesky, im interested in how your pintrist experement will go!
