As promised, here is my review of Onimusha Warlords. One thing i forgot to mention was in the Remaster they've added achievements in game to keep track of a kin to the MegaMan X Legacy Collection. They do nothing but it's just another piece of replay value for those interested in such things. Do you have memories with this franchise?

I did finished it before few months back remastered version it was fun and gave me few panic attacks especially water puzzle

Awesome review! It's always great to see other people talking about why they loved playing Onimusha. I do hope this video gets more views in the future, you really deserve it! Also side note that quick attack is called the Issen and the blocking version is known as a Deflect Issen 😉!

thanks a lot dude. you can trust me when i say " i know what they are called" but for the sake of a review and for those who don't know. i chose not to confuse the audience with weird names. just call em what they are. a counter attack and quick attack stuff lol. it saves time lol. but yeah the Deflect Issen is my go to as its the only one i can almost rely on regularly. as demonstrated. glad you enjoyed my video. i wouldn't mind covering the other games in the series, sadly seeing how well this video did. not sure if i should.

One of my favorite vtubers (Salen Tasuki) played this game and I bought it, it didn't really strike a cord with me upon playing it the first time... seeing your review wants me to give it another try.

This was probably my most played game on the Playstation 2. Getting the Platinum trophy on PS4 was extremely satisfying, although I hated Oni Spirits...

If Capcom wanted to jump on the Soulslike bandwagon, then Onimusha would probably be the perfect franchise to do it with.

Ahh, you didn't mention that you can charge your normal attacks as well in Genma Onimusha, as well.as the fact that the quick strike is a lot easier to perform as it has a lot more active frames on it. Charging the normal attacks is great though. It's so strong that you.. essentially don't need the quick strike lol.

i did talk about the charged attacks in Genma Onimusha. they just weren't something i really used a lot. yeah i did forget about a lesser version being in the original but again XD barely used it so it was easy to forget it was there lol. as for the easier quick attacks in the Xbox Version... well damn... i thought i was just getting better at it. LoL

Nice i loved the ps2 one the remaster didnt sell well sadly so that why we may not get the others remastered however i hear theres a netflix anime coming that may bring new fans and spark interest. I never played genma one so found that info interesting. You should do vids like this for the rest of the series dude id watch them . But great vid ty for showing this game love it doesnt get mentioned enough in my opinion yet DMC another of my favs gets lots

@@Thebrotherhoodofgaming cool yea i love stuff like this did u hear there is a onimusha anime coming i was shocked that may rejog the series cause i feel the new gen gamers may not know these like i grew up with these games only one i never beat was 4 dawn of dreams. The more content creators like yourself talk about these long dormant games it helps spark interest several years ago i actualy emailed capcom and said why not remaster Onimusha 3 or 4 years later we got the 1st remaster. So the more people bring it up look we are now getting 3 silent hill games and a new movie if i were sony id remaster them all like a collection like they did devil may cry a another fav series then go for a reboot with maybe a new spin enough for old fans and newer fans to enjoy that may spark interest in taking the series forward into more games if they make a solid revival that honers the old games n fans but also gives it a modern edge for newer games. But thats me
