Thanks for this. This is the first video I've found that shows cutting speed in real time. What software did you use for the design?

Thank you. I used CarveCo maker and UGS.

Great vid...what kind of wood are you cutting? 1/8" or 1/4" bit? Thanks 🙏
@Checkitfirst Жыл бұрын
1/8 bit. The wood was reclaimed from an old piece of furniture that we believe was cherry, but I am unable to confirm that 100%.

Hi, why so slow?
@Checkitfirst Жыл бұрын
That’s as fast as it will go. I have it set to 100 inch/min. but it has that real soft takeoff and then a soft slow down and it just seems to run that way. I would assume there’s a G code somewhere that I can change, but I don’t know enough about it to make that happen.

And I also believe that it comes out cleaner when you slow it down just a little bit but like I said, it’s fast as I’m able to get it to go on the day of this video

78 inches a minute is its top speed

@@Checkitfirst In UGS activate the Override buttons so you can speed things up, you will be able to override both feed and rapid speeds.
