USC are bigger than us, but not by much. You'd have to say we have a chance. It's just whether they can keep going later in the game when they've all played a lot of minutes. Ice and Ashlynn need to have good games.

What other WCBB team has made it to the E8 with five starters including two Freshmen and a bench of two more neither of which can stop the bleeding if a starter is in foul trouble. This is my favorite UConn team for its grit.

@@stormyweather9917 - Kind of you to say. WCBB is loaded with good players and coaches, but Geno has created a WBB community that excells in relationships. Playing in the E8 with a roster of only five, two being Freshmen is new. Still, the Freshmen coming into the game today are phenomenal.

Coach Geno needs to be more positive, optimistic, and also grateful in analyzing this year's team. Fact is, this years team compared to other good teams in tournament, are undersized, missing 3 stars from injuries which has definitely hurt their depth, yet; this years team is winning, depending on their match up. Their lack of height and inconsistent shooting has been an Achilles for them. USC fmis a good match up for UCONN. They can beat USC. It.ll be a fast-paced game. Geno Needs to Play 8 kids. 8 kids need to step up, play tough, rebound, rebound, hit their shots. If done, it's final four.

I agree, personally, I didn't think they'd get to the 8. Based on their lack of depth, in my mind their season has been a success. 60 teams didn't make it this far.
