I had a feeling that Amber grandfather is a Fatui Harbringer, he seen by his old pal in Qingce Village 'Skulking around' which is a very Fatui thing to do (or out of shame). There's a Habringer who have a Crying bird as symbol (Childe is whale), could mean someone who 'fly' (in this case gliding) but regrets so much that it saddens him ? Idk man he could find that the knights were kinda corrupt and go for the Fatui for some reason, since he is defecting to 'enemy forces'. and yeah in the manga Amber's grandfather office is use by those corrupt knight. If this the case, then it could be a great potential arc, and her training and powerup, it would be sick to see her meet Collei again and searching for Pyro God for powerup to 'save' her grandfather.

With all this lore about Amber's lore. She reminds me of Kiana. Let's hope that she keeps her smile and is not transforming into a god of the Void. With a new update, it's possible that we will meet with Amber's grandpa and understand the reason why he left Mondstadt. I bet it's something related with the Fatui, or regarding about his experience on Liuye or as you mentioned, the corruption behind the Knights.

You know how in gacha games, characters will sometimes get alternate versions? I hope later in the story, Amber gets a 5* version representing her growth as an adventurer and as a person later in the story. Maybe even with a different weapon so as not to completely overlap with regular Amber.

Would love for Amber to get a huge power and effect boost to her abilities, she’s just too cute and energetic to have such weak attacks. Imagine if her barren bunnies actually made enemies dance around them, only to be sent flying by a devastating explosion that grew in strength the more enemies gathered. Or if every charged shot summoned a fire arrow volley. Or make her ultimate summoning several barren bunnies who ran at enemies to hug them, then blow up in their faces. She would be an insane character if her kit worked like this, wish the devs would just rework her and make her five star quality already so I can use her more.

I arrange them into a narrative through creative writing to more effectively tell these stories in a way that’s more entertaining. I.e the stories as written have very little flow from one to the next, and aren’t inclusive of outside details that other sources like voice lines, ingame events, or the manga would tell you.

Thank you for posting this. I have long waited for someone to prove to me how lovely Amber is and how deserving she is of love and praise. She may not seem too strong now but she is one of my favourites and I continue to take her with me throughout Teyvat.
