Not just new players. seriously I've played genshin since beginning, love it, but Wuwa is better by far. exploration, free stuff, guaranteed pulls, only 80 for wep period. no 160 possibly. they are sposed to be doing some changes to pulls too. They constantly listen to the players and improve things based on our feedback, No waiting for weeks to max out a char if ya didnt prefarm, cause all mats respawn daily. They gave away multiple free five stars, which are great. they MC is actually truly useful. The echo (artifact) farming is easier. Few more things need added and i think it's perfect. the new train option that genshin added would be great.

I only spent a little, and I have every character except for Zhezhi. I have signature weapons for 4 of them. Dupes of Verina, Encore, and Jiyan. And enough materials to upgrade 15 of them to 80 or 90. Kuro is extremely generous, and I'm honestly surprised at how amazing my experience has been since day one.

And have 6 characters maxed out, finally got to work on my jiyan and held back only by weekly boss materials to finish uprgrading his perks. At this point idk if I even need new 5stars anymore. Because you do spam the same moveset in Genshin brainlessly dealing high damage. Meanwhile in Wuwa you either solo or do a full team rotation. With fluids animation with challenge moveset such as evade and parry, the game would be much more lively than Genshin ever be. Meanwhile in genshin similar to HSR, 4* tends to get superseded easily with a better alternative, meanwhile in Wuwa, Kuro respects all their characters regardless of the rarity allowing it to be highly usable if you invest in it. I don't unfortunately don't see the same in both HSR and Wuwa. Only a few of them are actually usable in the latest meta, in HSR it probably requires lots of patience to get full marks for rewards

And this is when they are basically catering to new players for months now. Most of the QOLs in 2024 are dedicated to new players, whether it's in-game guides, or updated domains of Mondstadt. But in terms of actual resource provision, GI lacks a lot. I hate the exploration in Genshin so much, literally hours of exploration and not even 100 primos. Meanwhile in wuwa, supply chests give a lot of astrites. Even the most basic chest gives 5 astrites.

Wuwa is super beginner friendly ngl. I played this game for about two weeks now and I love how generous the game is. I had to do like 160 pulls for shorekeeper and spent a lot of astrites. I got encore and a lot of yangyang in the process but i eventually got shorekeeper. Then i do a lot of side quests and finding all the chests. I was down from 57 astrites to 6100 just from doing all of that, including daily and the other stuff like trophies, data banks, union lv, the thing where you speak to Magi, etc. I do not regret putting all of my time into this game

Btw I’m playing WuWa since late July, got Changli with standard 5 star weap, Zhezhi, free Xiangli Yao, Jinshi s0r1 and Shorekeeper s1r1 (she’s my first ever limited 5 star with con) as a light spender. Only missing standard is Encore. Got double 5 star pulling Shorekeeper (Lingyang and then her) + Verina con in next meme 10 pull. Did 30/30 ToA today!! Wuthering Waves gives you strong 2 strong characters to start with and it's great if you want to save for new upcoming characters. The exploration is just *chef's kiss* great and not locked behind certain limited characters, limited and standard weapon are separate and guaranteed, and the devs is responsive and fixes probpems and bugs as fast as possible. Kuro really do listen and to it's players.

I also want to add two things to the WuWa section of the video. 1, if you finish the discount banner you get another beginner banner where you select the 5 star you will pull from the standard banner and 2, the weapon standard banner lets you not only select the weapon you want but also guarantees it in 80 pulls. I made a genshin account during their 5.0 anniversary. Even if you include the anniversary rewards, the total rewards are still lower than wuwa. Cause you don't get the 20 anniversary pulls immediately, you have login multiple days. If i remember correctly, i got like 5 extra limited pulls plus a standard 5 star cause of the selector. So that's total 15 standard pulls 8 limited pulls 1 5 star character

Since the game launched 4 yrs ago, they really haven't done anything to revamp or buff the stuffs you can get as a new player. I just started a new genshin account where Im only pulling for characters I want with no regard for meta teams. I gotta say, the sentiment that beginners get actual crumbs in the first 10 or so hours is so true. With the amount of quests and cutscenes in the game rn it only adds more time for ppl to grind for primogems which makes the experience for beginners that much worse imo. Not to mention the amount of walls that players face with the adventure level blocking ascension levels for characters which makes it take longer to kill mobs with the 4 starter characters you get. For players that don’t want to waste resources on those 4 beginner characters (or three with the exception of Kaeya being the only real useful investment) it’s absolutely not fun. On top of all that, some players may only get a single 4 star weapon for their free standard 10 pull instead of an actual character which is so diabolical 😭

What I feel about playing WuWa is like home. As a person with skill issues the very first release of genshin it was soo hard for me as an f2p, but here in WuWa It feels so easy to do everything.

I can't remember how many pulls I got on Day 1, but there is a way to get as many as possible, around 20-30 pulls or maybe 50 maybe too much? to reset your ID to find the character you want.

My friend also tried to start weeks ago. But uninstalled it in JUST a day because she was struggling with controller support. Only later we learned that there was NO controller support on Android (my other friend who recently started a few months ago) plays on their Ipad. Which DOES have controller support. And to add insult to injury, the discovery happened on the update WuWa gave controller support to ALL platforms. 😂

To be honest, the story in Genshin Impact feels completely outta place, the only thing I consider as canon from that game is finding the sibling that was separated from the Traveler. Can't help but love genshin, even though there is barely any resources, its a beautiful game. Wuthering waves does give you more of everything though and the fights are cool and interesting, but it doesn't feel as colourful as genshin to me, it's weird but i like both in their respective way so i cant choose one or the other.

Its crazy to think that even without the release and preregistration rewards, new players are still absolutely spoiled in comparison with Genshin. We get better rewards than Genshin's anniversary every patch just for logging in.

I played Genshin in 2020 but stopped because I got stuck and bored somewhere along the way. I play HSR and WuWa now. I can still view my account in the Hoyolab app, Zhongli was the only 5⭐ I have, and I equipped my strongest sword on Noelle even though she's supposed to be a healer

some things are kinda unfair when comparing cause genshin does have daily log in events at times and also gives a lot of primogems for server downtime after every new patch so i wouldnt count these if wuwa has that in that moment but genshin doesnt at that time but in general, yes genshin is not generous at all compared to wuwa and even other hoyo games

Im ar 60 and got c6 ganyu, c3 hutao, c1 zhongli, c3 raiden, they all have signature weapon by saving for 3.5 year and i deleted after the release of wuwa i was also planning of getting a c6 hutao but got bored. The combat is better in wuwa for me.

Yeah you're better off doing that, I've played Genshin and when I started I was just confused. The MC never talked, never had a choice in anything, it honestly feel like their a pushover. The game is difficult as well, I just feel like its so difficult to grind as well for a new player. My characters are to weak to get good artifacts, and the artifact system just confused. Of course the whole decision is up to you and every experience is different.

In wuwa you can get chest easily Like getting a chest in the top of mountain/Tall object with running in the wall While Genshin if you dont have specific characters the slow climb will be torture maybe natlan can give easy exploration but that just exclusive to that region only

WuWa made me quit Genshit after 3 years because Kuro made me realize Hoyo treats their players like absolute dogshit. Kuro makes feel valued and respected as their player which I never felt in my 3 years of playing Genshit. And honestly, it fuels my anger and hatred towards Hoyo even more. But it's usually no use convincing Genshit slaves how dogshit the way their devs treat them really is. They're helpless. Do you ever think about... kuro devs play other gacha games, then do the exact opposite of what they experience? I've never played genshin and have a friend who does, and god forbid a day doesn't end without my friend complaining about it... my first gacha was hsr, and I don't even play it as much since wuwa released (best decision I've made so far honestly) currently only saving for sunday... I know gacha games are about money but it shouldn't be the sole purpose... user experience is important, and tbh I wouldn't be having the same fun I'm having with wuwa if I played genshin... I played genshin since release l have over 300,000 fates and have every 5* star character only paid for welkin and battlepass only. Oh yeah, 100% everything in teyvat. It's called, not going for the same 5* character. Not missing an event. Not missing livestreams and secret codes from other people through reddit. Hoyoverse log in. Genshin events when you have to use your scanner on phone. Now hoyoverse made the much easier. Wuthering Waves on the other hand. It sucks on mobile. Hurry up and bring it to playstation.

I got an early Calcharo on my beginner pulls, so I had a lot of pulls left for the 80 beginner pity and got Verina early in like 30 pulls and a Mortefi amongst that 30 as well, and then got Jianxin from the selector and after Verina I had enough standard pulls left hat I went and pulled the 5* Pistols in 3 singles for Mortefi, I also got Jiyan in the first 10 pull on limited, so I was fricking stacked from the very start.

I joined WuWa 8 days before Jinhsi banner ended and were able to pull her after 2 days remained. I'm really glad because there hasn't been a character I like as much so far in the game. This is something that won't ever happen in Genshin.

after i started playing wuwa, i completely abandoned genshin. i used to play genshin since 1.3, but after a while that inazuma released, i stoped feeling happy while playing the game, it became boring, i was playing out of "obligation" and not for fun. my head were like "uhhh if i dont play genshin today i wont have X item or gems uhhh" it just wasnt fun. but with wuwa, my god! im at endgame at this point, rank 53, playing since release! i felt happy playing it, i had fun while exploring, climbing, gliding, etc. (didnt have any fun climbing sumeru). PLUS, at my first day playing wuwa, i was sure i wanted calcharo, cus bro is badass, AND AT THE DAY ONE I ALREADY HAVE HIM, and jiyan yeah sure. this hyped me so much when i was a new player, getting so early good characters at low pity, something that didnt really happend to me in genshin.

I played both games, genshin for years too, but i will always say genshin is sh*t solely due to how bad dev treatment toward outside cn player is, their scam weapon banner (until they fixed it but still bad and took way too long to happen), board and emotionless dialogue, conversation and animation, and the fact that exploring QoL locked behind a character kit. While wuwa never have those problem, so i am genuinely curious of what can you list on both positive and negative side of wuwa, since we can give feedback toward the kuro dev and make them listen and fix it instead just ignoring our cry😄

genshin gives a free linette in an event if i remember correctly . They also gave a free standard banner 5 star in an event with a selector but i mean nobody is useful in standard banner because of the elemental reaction system apart from tighnari and mona for hydro application.
