ngl when she was announced i didn't know if it would like her, but now that i've had her for a month, i love her sm. like she's really just a stressed college student trying not to fail and yet really passionate about her major. in her story, she said that she for one, has always loved the culture of sumeru even if they weren't logical. she loved the crafts the vendors would sell, the art, and the music. she would take strolls there just to look at the beauty of sumeru. and her special item are photos of all of her friends and her enjoying life, even as stressed as she is most of the time. if you can't tell, i really like her. she's really sweet and too relatable lmao

@@Arlecchiino- Yeah same here, i take sleeping meds too and i need to take them early for better effects. I also manage with little sleep, but it is important to note that less sleep consistently does lead to hallucinations and etc. It can also cause psychosis due to the stress even if we don't really feel anything. So take good care of yourself and every time you feel even just a bit tired, take the opportunity to sleep or at least rest even if it's 5 min!

In addition to chronic sleep illness Layla also has a double personality syndrome, or to be more accurate her double personality syndrome is caused by her sleep illness. There's "another" Layla that talks to the traveler who's much more confident and outgoing and is actually the one finishing Layla's homeworks and projects and takes her away to the desert even.
