Gonna get one for Japan in Jan. Has it changed much since then?

No it hasn't. If you click through to the review on The Good Ride I have updates there on what changed or what didn't. Gentemstick really doesn't change much though. The only change they made many years ago now is they moved from Bamboo sidewalls to ABS or recycled ABS which dampened up the ride and made it more reliable.

What stance width and angles did you end up liking?

I now love riding boards like this with angles of at least +27/+9 but usually more posi and 20"-21" wide instead of my normal 21.5"
