Gentle's story line is so good. In this world with quirks you're just one bad choice away from going through the wrong path. He redeemed himself due to Deku and the love he feels for La Braava.

My hero really used their characters cast really well and you can see it clearly in this war, with Yaoyorozu create the spare, Kaminari as living battery, Shinsou and Monoma for splitting the villain (well this one backfire now) and Monoma copying Aizawa quirk and this episode we saw three villain being used, LaBrava for her quirk and knowledge to counter Skeptic hacking, Gentle to make sure the island stay afloat since the levitation system broke down and finally Lady Nagant as sniper. You really love to see all these characters come together to defeat Shigaraki and the others.

Another thing about this episode is Deku's reaction to realizing Gentle was there: Up until this point, Deku didn't know his reaching out to villains had actually worked. With Gentle (IIRC) he never says to Deku that he changed his mind. Deku had to defeat him physically and any regret/remorse Gentle felt was internal dialogue. It flat out didn't work with Muscular and it almost get Lady Nagant killed. This moment was the first time Deku has gotten proof a villain can become a hero.

Crazy how manga fans said they hate this arc and anime onlies enjoy it. Like how manga fans said AOT was trash post season 3 and anime onlies enjoyed it. Even funnier that the manga fans were claiming jjk Shyabiua arc beats or contest hxh chimera ant and bleach soul society yet anime onlies liked it but thought the pace was overwhelming. Proves to me that a series with fast pacing manga people enjoy feels off anime wise it’s best to binge manga if you get too impatient. All great series also which don’t need comparisons their all doing their strengths well and no series is good at everything. Someone has a flaw others consider a feature of their favorite series. Like how people hate yapping in jjk but I like it in hxh. Makes fights strategic and intense.

Gentle and La Brava's return is so goated. My man stopped an entire prison riot by himself and now catches an entire air fortress. Then of course La Brava, who powered him up and proliferates herself as the #1 hacker in mha. Gotta love how in the League of Villains vs Liberation Front arc, Re-Destro mentioned how Skeptic had only lost once in the past. That one time being to La Brava; now she came back for seconds. 😂

It's still mad to think that out of all of the officers, guards and Heroes that tried to stop the breakout of each prison, Gentle by himself subdued every last criminal in his, including taking down every Villain that helped break them out. He did the work of hundreds by himself without Aiba's Love power while already weak from imprisonment and did it better than any other prison with his being the only prison with no escapees. He literally slapped down roughly 1/8th of All for One's prospective army recruits by himself. Even without the Love buff man is a legend
