Thanks for sharing this... Have you tried Diatomaceous Earth? Zinc Oxide is a sunscreen as well but there are other people saying it is also toxic... I am not sure... I stopped using deodorant few months ago and using a serum I have made of Hyaluronic Acid, Vit C and Sepiwhite... Seems to work for me... I find that a bit of an odor but not a bad odor after 8 hours and use Witch Hazel on a cotton swab to remove the odor... My pits has become whiter now... I used to have darker pits.

This looks so amazing 😍. I just woned to ask does the zinc recinoleate pastiles are the same as zinc recinoleate powder. I do have the powder and i was wondering if its the same and if i can use it ❤.

I would love to tryvthis but don't have a clue how to calculate percentage of each ingredient...is that the same as grams?? Please help. Thanks

First of all grab a calculator! Then decide what the total amount of deodorant you want to make in grams. If making a 1000 gram batch, you would calculate 1000 x .35 for the coconut oil - which would be 350 grams. 1000 x .30 for the Shea Butter - so 300 grams. If you are making a smaller batch - say 500 grams, then it would be 500 x .35, 500 x .30, etc. Hope that makes sense!

I don't have a lot of experience with Stearic acid. I know it has a higher melting point than beeswax and would make it a bit harder? Not sure about the ratio. Thanks for joining me on my channel!

Coconut oil and shea butter are not good for sensitive skin since they clog pores and can cause severe cystic acnes. I have been experienced with this issue before.

Replace coconut oil with almond oil or jojoba oil and replace shea butter with coco butter or glee.

Do you have any substitute for Zinc Ricinoleate? I have all the ingredients except this. If it is not necessary, where should I up the % for this?

Hello Sonia. The zinc ricinoleate is really the key ingredient in this recipe to help control odor. But if that is not a problem with you, I would just add some more coconut oil if you live in a cold climate like me. If you are somewhere warmer, I would increase the shea or mango butters.
