Tim, Your Dad is my hero. I learned my trade from my dad starting at age 12. I spent 30 years in the Commercial and Industrial Mechanical Contracting business and retired in 2002. Did not like retirement so I took a job driving OTR, hauling Caterpillar parts from the Canadian border to San Francisco then to the Mexican border then back to East coast. Out 4 weeks and home 4 days. Loved it. Due to health reasons I got out of my truck and went to work for a company doing Refrigeration work again for the last 14 years. I am 75 years old and still working 40 hrs per week. Of all the things I have done over my 62 years of working, driving a truck was the best. Miss my dad so much. Cherish your time with him, Braxton will pick up on that and will do the same with you. Get well soon. Vietnam Veteran 1968-1969. Thoughts and Prayers PS: Married to the same women for 58 years. Am I bless or what?

Hey Tim not sure if you will actually read this or not but here it goes, I have been through spinal surgery 3 times and going to let you in my circle and tel you do all you can to not have surgery! Do the chiropractor as much as you can first. There are doctors out there that only deal with neck and can release the pressure on the neck without surgery. I know you will want the fast fix,and get back to life quick. Take my word I am 53 and have had my share of surgery on my spine and if I had the technology they have now I would have only had to have one surgery due to accident. That all said take it easy and do as much stretching on neck as you can and seriously look for doctor that can move just the bones in neck and try to shy away from surgery as long as you can. I know now that I should have done it years ago. I think clearer and everything I do is much better because he open the spinal column up and all the nerves and sensors work so much better giving me over all better movement and quality of life. Just hope someone gets to you so surgery is last resort. Wish you best with it.

35:52 WOW I love those International Eagle 9300's like that one on the right. Back in the early 00's my friends dad and grandfather had a small logging company that my dad ended up driving for them for a while, and had two Eagle 9300's, along with a silver 80's Mack Superliner, Orange Peterbuilt 367, and a green Kenworth W900. They turned up the one 9300 to about 650 HP. It was a beast. But the 900 HP v8 Detroit Superliner was a local legend in our valley logging community was on another level. I dont know why I love the Eagles so much but that big square grill just does it for me - just a tough wide stance along with the cab body lines.

Just found this channel. Love a dedicated family operation. At least the right kind like this one. I learned from my dad who owned a small family grocery. I treat every job as though I am the owner and every dollar is mine that is spent. Something about learning from a company/family business like this no one can understand only working for large corporations. My last job was working for a multi billion dollar aerospace company. I can't tell you the number of times I heard, it is less than a Million in reference to don't worry about it. An executive asked once, what can we do to improve things, I said change the way people thing. He didn't have a clue. I explained that there are 300 people in finance in the location I worked. If everyone was unconcerned of a million dollars or less, that is $300m. At what point does it matter? I was a thorn in their side for eleven years. Thanks very much for sharing.

Good for you. You do more FLDs that tube in center of windshields is cable run. Makes it much nicer to for hiding wire runs. I always thought the wire panel was nice set up. Easy to find hot , acc or ignition studs. Each to their own. Changed hoses, how bout the temp valve in electric box? They like quitting at wrong time. I like you hate tape over ducts. Always covered from inside about half vents. Should have driver sliding fithwheel. Learn a lot about temperament. Old school is dishsoap to lube slide. You need to think of half fenders, tubs for lead axle. Less road junk thrown up to trailers. Take care

Hi Tim glad to see your taking things easy, I'm from the UK and our new trucks are doing away with mirrors and just using rear facing cameras and the drivers are happy using them. It's also a good idea to remove that amp as the driver should be able to hear any odd noises and stop the truck to investigate whether it be mechanical or even a tire and stop before expensive damage occurs. Love the videos .
