When i started as a driver for Walmart in Sept 2001 i spent the first year in a 98 IH cabover. I see the air release fifth wheel button is still on the dash. It was great to just set the tractor brakes and pull the button to release the fifth wheel. Saved a lot of shoulder injuries over the years for them.

NAPA is a great chain. I was blessed to have them almost beside my shop for a number of years. They took care of me and my customers like none other. I believe WIX makes their filters, they are high quality. Wanted to tell you, the video quality looks better today.

Tim I still have my old Cobra 29 that I had reworked back in 91 for my first truck and used it clear up until medical issues forced me to get out of driving in 03. It still walks and talks like new.

Tim get with your amsoil guy. Stick with the 0w20 get the signature series and go with the extended drain intervals just like you did with the W900 Amsoil eao series filters are all nanofiber filaments the best available. I work for General Motors and they consider a quart of oil usage in 3000 miles as being normal. It's not warrantable. Don't whatever you do go to a heavier oil viscosity you will cause considerable damage because of tolerance issues.

Tim, if the previous owner ran it for too long between oil changes there may be sludge in the pan, drop it and clean the pickup tube filter, then run a quart of marvel mystery oil in with the engine oil.

What I've learned about those hub caps after having replaced many of them is to get the threaded lug covers rather than the push on's and use a single small drop of red loctite on each one. That keeps the caps from backing off but still allows for easy removal when you need to change a tire. After I did this, I haven't had to replace any of them since and been running the same set for 4 years with no issues.

My dad used to use the old school chrome cobra CB. And as far as the engine oil in the Denali. Keep the 0w20 uol. But only use mobil 1. And use also regular Lucas. 1qt. for every 4qts of pan capacity. I am an auto tech. Lots of the GM afm engines, do have oil usage issues. And try to not go below 20-25% oil life, before you change it.

re: CB radio , back in the 90's i had a Cobra 25 ltd classic with a swing kit, Diesel power mic, 150 amp trucker kicker. later i had a Super Star 3300 also had a swing kit, Astatic D104 power mic, 450amp Palomar kicker.

Code-63 on that thurmaking just letting you know that the engine or vapor motor has stopped.also a restricted exhaust will make that unit vapor lock which will make the fuel pump shutdown until it cools off then it will run until it gets hot and shutsdown again so check the exhaust for a restriction.

Newer engines burn oil due to the "low friction" tolerances on the piston rings.

we switched to carrier but i remember every time 63 popped up id grab a meter and a new fuel solenoid ...those solenoids get oil in them

with the major power supplies being damaged , it would be a great time to have these trailers. I Canada we locally had a bad storm go thru and the grid was down 3 days in town. The local large food store ( Costco ) had 5 refer unites and 2 large generators running 24 7 to hold all there stock in check. Maybe that is something else you can have on hand Generators , commercial brand from Military resale ? Making money while sitting still , gota like it !

Tim, Hold the volume and the tune button in for 30 seconds. We have a 19 4500 at work and ive had this same issue. Had to have it replaced cause it eventually crashed. Hope this helps. Also i have a 89 volvo cabover with a box and hydraulic lift gate you may be interested in. Im right south of Nashville in columbia.

Alyssa remembering incorrectly a code 63 on a Thermo King means unknown fault and it shouldn't shut you down but it may shut you down but you should be able to restart it it's never a bad idea to loosen up the fuel filter and make sure it's primed.

On some thermo kings, code 63 could also be high or low engine temp.

I like to say we outkicked our coverage when it comes to our ladies! Be careful running a heavier weight oil. These new motors are built tight and need that thin oil. Trailer you were under needs some tires, tread about like drag radials.

We experienced the type issues with those units. If it's not a fuel issue check the volts to the board. You need 12.6. That's where you start. If you don't have 12 6 while running at the board the computer will fault and won't nessacerly throw a code. It will not restart just crank snd crank. I think it's a fuel issue. If it has set check the seal on the primer pump. It may be bleeding back after shut down.

Not but a few short years ago guys who die before being seen in a Cabover. Hard,tough on driver neck and back. J.B Hunt didn’t have all those Cabovers for their drivers comfort.My dad did 39 years at GM driving those daycab cabovers cost him 2 neck and 3 back operations. First time he sat In my W-9000 Kenworth he was in heaven. First time he drove it he said he’d never go back if given the chance.I’m sure wheelbase helps a lot.

There's a fuel filter on the frame by the fuel tank, and check the vent tube on the fuel tank.

There is no fuel filter on the frame of that reefer. The only filters are the in line screen and the one at the top of the reefer. The newer units have a filter on the fuel pump but not the older units

There is a connector on driver side firewall for radio battery power. Red wire gray connector. Unplug for a few minutes and you should be good

Tim get you a Stryker sr655 peaked and turned with blue lights on the bottom of the radio with a D104n6b microphone and a Stryker sra10 trucker antenna and you should be good to go

I started running mobile-1's 5W-40 full synthetic turbo diesel oil in my Tahoe and now I have 60psi oil pressure when cold 40psi when warm with winter filter....

Hi Tim,same code happen to me on my 2020 tk. Was asked by the. If I just filled it say yes. They told me shut it off when filling. They said it vapor locks when running. I thought is bs. But it hasn't done it since. So I turn it when Fueling and fire it back up when done

while totally a stab in the dark, would it be an ECU issue that the ECU thinks the fault still isn't fixed? and an onboard memory battery so that it saves the fault if the main battery dies. that is where I would edge my bets if anything. because apart from not wanting to start, it is going to the same point on the starter motor and totally nothing. but yet when running it is running fine from what I can hear, so don't think/believe it is mechanical.

Sounds like a return line leak. Fuel is draining back to the tank. Check the 1/4” line from the unit to the tank.
