Normally have to call Leo and have them detour it around. Normally have to get the road shut down and back up to the next exit and then go around. What he should have done was pre planned the trip because if he would have did so wouldn’t have ever put himself in that situation. Anyone with oversized experience know this and it really makes me wonder how long he has been doing it atleast him as a driver that’s a dang rookie move that is very preventable with either mapping out the permit route or iv always rigged up a pole truck on some loads and drove them in advance. Kinda weird how he has so called been pulling out of that area but he didn’t know the route had a bridges he couldn’t pass. I’ve notice Tim lies a lot about things making it out as if he has been places when it’s probably his first ever load out of the area 😂

He talked about "Round two" so I'm guessing he backed it up and parked it until they got new permits with different routing. As for the pre trip, it's all for naught of he isn't given the proper dimensions of the load by the shipper beforehand.

Like I told you the second you put that grill cover on you will have overheating problems. You are not getting enough air through those tiny holes. It looks good but is not good for cooling. It was a nice piece from SH tube but it’s impractical. You can’t go against physics. It’s like a restrictor plate nascar used to run in their cars to slow them down. That just caused more accidents because nobody could get out of the way for the other guy to get through and bunched up all the cars. Get rid of that grill or you will burn up your engine.

When you watch other trucking channels, most of the guys are gentle on the pedal. This guy was driving down the open road, literally pumping on the accelerator. With turned up engines, and that amount of playing on the pedal, his fuel economy must be terrible.

That would be IDOT Just like MODOT they issue the permits, but yeah they need to double check their routines, but like Jefferson Citty, Springfield has no clue what the bridges & stuff are. That us upto the Trucking company to determine & then they report to Springfield via computer & send all the necessary paperwork in along with the money & then iIDOT routs you the way THEY want you to go & you CAN'T divate from your permitted route that a big fine loss of permits & you have to start all over again.

My question is why was you so close to your pole truck? I’ve always road my permits out ahead of time when possible and if it’s a big big load no matter what I run the route. And a proper escort should be pretty familiar with pulling out of a area like that unless this is his first day on a job or it’s someone you use a lot and if you have been coming for years how did you not know from previous experience. Little confusing I guess if you been picking up for years you should know the area and should definitely do alittle planning once you seen your permit route went and atleast used map or got online and looked.

Smart choice moving to Final Cut for editing. Once you get the hang of FCP its really pretty nice, pretty easy/fast to use. I personally prefer FCP over Premiere Pro (unstable on Win, better on macOS) or other options.
