The reality of usa-made, is that all of the little parts or components are outsourced, made in China, made in Taiwan, excetera excetera but then the parts are physically put together in the USA, and you can say it is made in the USA without lying. And this, is an absolute fact in many cases! Oh and then of course because they stamped the title usa-made on it, they can and will extremely increase the price. But then again this is the USA way. Another place that this is very common, is with designer clothes. Yes Louis Vuitton, Gucci, excetera excetera, are in fact many times made right there in China , and this is also a fact. It's also interesting, just as he said in this video about making such a good copy they must have some first-hand knowledge of the mold, this is the case with many of the top clothes designers. In that many of these companies are even in on the counterfeit. You know the words the real ones and the fake ones roll off the same Factory floor. Honestly this one I have to say is a good idea. If I owned Gucci oh, I would do the same thing, this way I could make money on the real ones and still make a ton of money on or about fake knock-offs that gets sold. In truth, probably most of the time there's more money in knockoffs than the real ones. A little spoiler alert, most people who think they're Gucci, they're Louis Vuitton, their coach, excetera excetera, are many times fake. Yes I've spent a long time learning how to tell the differences.

True! I bought a Chinese Rolex and took it to a jeweler and he thought it was real. Iet him open it up and it had a knock off movement as well. I took it to a pawn shop and he did the same. These Chinese knock offs are soo good that it is dangerous. Are they equally as well made? No...hell no! Buy that watch was 400 bucks and the real deal was 14,000.00. That is quite a difference. As for car parts..I would buy the knock offs if they are good knocknoffs. That is to say you are buying from vs racing,cx racing, pulsar etc. There is a lot of Chinese junk I wouldn't even consider at any price! A side note...a lot of high end Italian products are actually made in Italy but they import the Chinese labor. Seriously...this is a fact. These laborers take some products back and knock them off. That too is a fact. Italy got hit hard with Covid because they were moving people back and forth a long time before they stopped because of covid. Research it...you will see it is true!

I am betting that you did not water cool it like it is designed to be used. I am betting you haven't watercooled the Tial either. I would suggest you run it like it is designed to be run. Now ...you can probably get by with running these without the water cooling but it will probably not survive as long as it could. Of course there are models that are not designed with water cooling. Those obviously are designed to stay cool without water Having stated that the Tial parts are nicer. Most of the parts are interchangeable. I would suhhest putting the Tial diaphram and valve in the Chinese product when the Chinese parts do fail. Now...400.00 for the Tial vs 60.00 for the Chinese knock-off....is it worth that for the difference? I would say not. I have run both and for the money the Turbosmart products are probably best. But Chinese vs Tial...Chinese every time! If you run a good ball bearing turbo (even Chinese), the appropriate exhaust manifold, install the wastegates properly, use adequate intercooling (air or water) ,get enough fuel and air into the engine. I would like to interject that tuning is the absolute most important part of your build. Nowadays you can buy an old ls 5.3 and turbo and tune it properly making 1000 hp. You can buy a used k24a2 and properly turbo and tune it making 600 hp. These are on completely stock engines but the tuning has to be right...spot on! Okay..so you can buy Chinese wastegates,BOVs ,even turbos are made well by the Chinese now but tuning has to be done ptofessionally unless you really know what you are doing! Great video !

Yeah, im not using the watercooling feature, from my understanding it wasn't necessary but useful for continuous heavy load type situations like road racing. I'm still leaning towards quality of materials, the new gate is still a nice gold color where as the old one corroded after the first heat cycle. (And the anodized finishes is still beautiful lol).
