Agreed, the unfortunate truth, however, is that humans torture, exploit, and use animals as clothing that are considered just farm food and less “cute” than say a puppy or kitten. While there are some good souls in this world, this video is a great example of that, there are those who are miserable human beings who take pleasure out of hurting animals that are considered lesser down the totem pole 😔 Anyway, ain’t i a bucket of sunshine this morning. Exactly if more people valued animals like this, humans would go extinct as this would mean everyone would be on a plant based diet, and what the science shows is plant based is not appropriate for human beings. We are omnivores who always leaned towards hypercarnivore for a reason, you can convert nutrition from plants the same way you could for animals in fact the research shows that 84-85% have to return back to animal products with 53% who go plant based lose their health within 3-7 years, a full 100% in 20+ years. Not only are you exposed to antinutrients which blocks your ability to absorb nutrients, but then there's plant toxins such as Lectins, Amines, Tannins, Trypsin inhibitors, Flavonoid Carotenoid, Curcumin, Polyphenol, Quercetin, Lycopene, Anthocyanins, Resveratrol, Phenols, Glucosinolate, Flavan-3-ol Salicylates, Oxalates, Sulfites, benzo ates, MSG, Non protein amino acids, Glycosides, Catechin, Terpenoid ,Akaloids including solanine and chaconine, Triterpenes,Lignins, Saponins, Phytic acid, and Isoflaones, Which all generate neurological issues. Hell look at any Vegan influencer, look at Mic the Vegan who looks like he's dying in every video. If you love animals over people, those people die it's common sense. We are meant to consume animal products not plants and all bodies of evidence supports this, people like Mic the vegan uses epidemiological and observational reports as research which is the lowest body of research.
@guhlobtrekker Жыл бұрын
@@GCT1990 everything you need to be healthy is found in plants.. meat and the protein taken in is recycled. Any vegan who is not healthy or looks sick has other issues,aybe yes they are eating constipated items or they don't get sun or they have other health issues.. certainly not from all the poisons associated with eating animals. The guy probably drinks Pepsi or Coke .. small things like this can ruin an otherwise healthy diet. Guy probably never fasts either. Check out water only fasting with no SOS (salt, oil, sugar) with a plant only menu and the decades of results cannot be refuted. Thr mean and dairy industry own most people's minds.. that's all they've ever seen not to mention ppl hate giving up what they've been programmed to do the first 30+ years of their life. Americans are the fattest in the world.. thrbAmerican diet is killing many other nations as well.

@@GCT1990 boy you really are working hard to convince yourself and others that you have the only correct answer. Your info isn’t all correct. I know people who don’t eat animals and are in great shape even after 20 years. And why do you care if some of us care more than you and aren’t going to eat a living being? Why does it upset you that we have humanity in us and recognize we aren’t better than them?
@meateaterscringe9863 Жыл бұрын
@@GCT1990 Seems like you are making a lot of stuff up. Humans wouldn't go extinct because of plant based diet, at least there is no evidence for that. What science shows that plant based is not appropriate? It seems like it is the opposite. We are classified as omniovores, doesn't mean we can't eat only plant based food. It seems that you are referring to some non-existent studies. You are probably referring how many people quite eating vegetarian and plant based diets, which is completely different to "have to". Many people quit daily exercise, but I am not sure if you are even able to understand this analogy. And please provide evidence for your claims. Funny how you mentioned so many "toxins", that some of them are not harmful in regular doses and some of them seem to be only health promoting. Of course it is only anecdotal evidence, most vegan influences that I know look great and even Mic doesn't look bad. Mic the Vegan uses a ot of different research, including epidemiological studies and observational studies, which are not lowest body of research. So you made plenty of mistakes here, but I am more interested in research.

my 1st yellow lab Sur Sol(south sun) was given the nickname Sol Man or Soul Brother by friends in our local community. He was invited to a wedding on the beach and also received his own invitation to friends son birthday party. Our beach community was much smaller and tighter back then. Most carpenters had dogs and they went to work everyday. Everybody knew every dog. I remember attending a funeral for a well known friend. I parked on the beach road some distance from the church. A friend who was very close the the deceased was extremely upset about his passing. She told me later that when she saw Soul Man laying on the tool box waiting for me that everything was going to be OK.

She's sterile (actually called a freemartin, if you want to learn more), and to a commercial farm, that's a money pit. Cows aren't cheap to feed! Then there's the problem of finding someone else who is able to take care of a cow. The requirement for a lot of space, a lot of feed, and ongoing health care like hoof trimming and vet visits makes it so that only a few can do it. Even fewer are willing when they know they aren't going to get any milk out of the deal.
@grammyd83612 жыл бұрын
Cattlemen, don't see the cow as a pet but as a investment. If a cow can't be bred, it's a pet that isn't enriching the herd, or paying her way. She then is not an asset but a liability. This cow is a Dairy Holstein, a Milk Cow. But she can't make milk if she can't have a calf. Milk, is what her calf would drink. In their minds eye, it costs the dairyman as much to feed a good cow as it does a bad one.

Most of the time the animals that are not profitable are killed not sold off, this cow wasn't killed because of the farmers daughter. On dairy farms all of the children are taken away from the mother so that none of the milk production is wasted. (to the mothers dismay) All the boys are killed pretty much immediately and the females are raised to be dairy cows. If there are already to many they will also be killed. The mothers are forcibly impregnated so that they can continue to produce milk and the process repeats.

I am an animal lover. I grow up in a farm; I remember when I was a kid feeding the cows and milking them. I agree, people need to be more kind with animals. She is a beautiful cow, am glad he was able to save her life.
@lil_weasel2192 жыл бұрын
To make milk you impregnate a female cow and then after the baby calf is born, you murder it, If it's male, to take the milk for yourself instead. If it's female the process repeats. I don't think that can be kind ever really. Now I'm not a vegan, I just reduce my consumption of animal product as much as i can, But that's the reality
@autumntaco87222 жыл бұрын
@@lil_weasel219 that is not how it works on small scale farms at all. Factory farming is horrific, but for people homesteading there is 0 reason to separate a calf and its mother. A mother cow produces way more milk than her baby can drink, so unless you're a greedy pig trying to make razor thin profit margins, it's far better for the health of both cow and calf to keep them together at least until she weens her baby. Usually with small farms, population management is as simple as loading your excess cows up once a year and auctioning them off. You need to keep a fresh cycle of cows/bulls every now and then to keep the herd genetically diverse (people who don't do this end up with cows with shorter life spans, poor milk quality, increase in birth defects over a few generations if breeding isn't heavily monitored), so there is always people in the market to trade/sell cows to. Not to mention, even for people that do use cows for meat as well, there's not a lot of people who prefer veal to beef when raising cattle. If you can butcher a baby and only get 150 pounds of meat (if you're lucky) versus waiting and getting 400 pounds of meat (which means no slaughter or processing of your farm animals for about 6 months), most people are going to go with the latter option. But of course, there will always be the people who think veal is wonderful, but I'm just... not big on eating baby animals. Maybe if I was starving, but I'd prefer it at least got to grow up and have some fun, live a little, get to be a cow before butchering it. I think the longer you keep them around, the more you appreciate and respect them, and I firmly believe that that respect is necessary to understand what you're doing shouldn't be taken lightly. Unfortunately having a sustainable cruelty-free diet is impossible, so if it has to be done I would rather do it myself knowing that the animal got to enjoy its life and I got to share that with them.

I've never seen a cow run like with that type of energy and almost behave like a dog. That probably says more about the living conditions of most cows I've seen. By no means does it surprise me animals are incredible but it's just so obvious how happy that cow is and so cool to see all these different types of animals playing together. My dream is to own my own farm and do my version of this and you definitely confirmed that that's the right choice and I very much look forward to being able to do similar things

I get sad when I see cows practically chest deep in mud/manure....I want them to be at least on pasture lands. They're incredibly socially and emotionally intelligent. They love music and are very curious creatures. Just don't stand behind one, when they say that something feels like they got "kicked by a cow", they're not joking, my cousin can attest. He had a hoof-shaped bruise for a long time and was lucky it wasn't his head. The cow was just startled (I'd kick someone if they snuck up behind me and scared me too...reflexes). He was fine and he's a large animal vet now. Still loves cows. :)

I wish you the very best of luck...more rescues/shelters are needed...think of how many happy baby boys would be kicking about or egglaying hens, non productive mommy cows still in early adulthood and so on could find their forever happy home...makes my heart all fuzzy n warm to just think about it. PS did you know (as I grew up on a farm one of my earliest jobs was caring for the hens/one rooster...they're really social n clever. The rooster will charm hens by finding a yummy snack, worm, n call girls over n also keep an eye out...for predators. Initially they're jungle/forrest n ground living so there's a different call for a ground predator (hens naturally hop onto a branch) or aerial (then they hide under shrubbery/undergrowth...smart. Merecats, capyobaras, ravens etc also have different calls depending on what danger is approaching. I find the developing field of animal behaviour super interesting 😊. Let me know if you succeed n I'll sub to your channel (if you intend to put content up on KZbin or Instagram etc). 🍀
