Rabbits are the pettiest, sassiest, most dramatic animals, they hold grudges and remember slights for weeks. I wouldn’t trade them for the world 🥰

Luca, my 7 year old rex/dwarf lop mix, is the most spiteful lil critter. He'll literally sulk for an entire DAY after visiting the vet, & refuses to get near my pops who is the designated 'get that furry thing in the pet transporter already!' person. Bunnies are amazing
@stephm4112 жыл бұрын
I'm a bunny mom and I can absolutely confirm this! I have a bonded pair of m/f siblings and my male, Kennedy, is the sassiest, most bullheaded bun. He's part beaver, gremlin, ninja, mole, & angsty teenager. Growls at me when he doesn't get his way which is usually when he can't dig or pull up the carpet when they're let out into the living room. Even with dig boxes, he still insists on doing this. He's a hyper little binky monster when he's happy though.

Not my experience haha My boy hates being picked up, but seems to forget in seconds after being set doen again And my girl makes a game of being hard to get, but always makes every process we have to get through seem easy They definitely have their own agenda, but are never mad for more than a few minutes
@lorddeathmetal22432 жыл бұрын
@@kimberlybenton1286 I would look it up. I've been thinking of getting a dog but the dogs I want are natural hunters so I have to scrap those ones. I would also try and get one who would go along well with your pup. Rabbits are smart and know prey animals which is why you need to gain their trust so they may not be comfortable with dogs unless you introduce them as you should do with any animal. When me and my gf move in together we will have to introduce our rabbits and we're thinking baby gates between them coz the two of them are already trying to hump each other (both bucks). Keep in mind not all animals will be textbook definition of their breed but it is still good to do research. If you do decide to get a rabbit and need assistance with anything I am more than happy to help. Good luck 👍.

So beautiful ! Our bunny Buster had a cat flap and would go inside and outside as he pleased. He had a wooden hutch outside and a palm leaf cubby and he dug his own burrow . He hung around with our dog and cat and chicken and had the best life. He came inside at night to sleep of his own accord , unless it was Summer when he like his burrow. He was constantly playing and would chase after the ball we threw ,but his favourite thing was throwing his own sticks which he would toss frisbee style with a flick of his head making a great big pile which he would eventually scatter. As to the palm leaf cubby ? He built it ! He spent one whole day dragging palm leaves over the garden until he made a little teepee shape which he got inside. Rabbits are so smart and hugely underestimated. I hate it when people confine them to little hutches and cages. It should be against the law !

Thank you for saving Val and giving her a much deserved forever home! And all the other bunny's and animals you care for!...Misinformed people believe if they dump a bunny 🐇🐰 it will survive on the street...It will NOT because it is a domesticated pet not a wild rabbit..The bunny will slowly starve to death, die of dehydration and/or be caught and eaten by a predator!...It needs to be punishable, by law, to suddenly decide you no longer want to care for an animal and get rid of it!...Any pet animal!...I don't know how these dumpers of beautiful, innocent animals can live with themselves or sleep peacefully, at night?!!...It is beyond cruel, literally breaks my heart and I know happens far too frequently.!..If you want a rabbit do your research on their needs and work required and really think about the possibly 10 year responsibility and commitment needed...Further, adopt a dumped rabbit that was rescued off the street because the animal shelters are FULL of them!...Give an abandoned bunny a second chance at a happy life where it will receive, and freely give, it's love...:-)

They're just so cute, especially when they're eating doing little chomp chomps. I have a cat that has what we call "bunny fur" because it's so soft. I love snuggling with her.
