Geocaching- The Final Jasmer? Power Island Part 1

Day 2 of our trip to Michigan consisted of an event in the morning and a trip to Power Island! For some cachers, they want to get the cache there to help complete their Jasmer Challenge. My goal was to find all the caches on the island! This is part one of our caching on the island.

Hopefully you can clear out Power island too! We cleared it out but then a new cache popped up in September 2023. :P When you visit, I hope Capt Mike is as entertaining for you as he was for us.

Ahhhh memories! I'll always remember this day, but it's so much more fun to replay it in videos such as this one. The jokes and little things that we don't necessarily pay attention to as they happen, but get to rewatch make the videos more special. I'm still blown away at the awesome drone work that kayak194 did. It really adds a special element to these videos.

Yep, these videos are great keepsakes of fun times. Like a video time-capsule. I agree that Kayak's drone shots added so much more to this video. It's great getting a different point of view at times. Phenomenal drone shots! Tell him I said "Thanks!!!!"

Captain Mike runs a nice straight course. That's the sign of a good skipper. What a nice calm day. I agree, nice drone footage. Bob Billy is a funny guy. Congrats on filling in three Fizzy fillers. Thanks for sharing.

Capt Mike and Bob Billy made for a great combination. You can't go wrong with Bob Billy. Well, you can't go good with him either . :P Everyone loves the drone shots.

Yayyyyy Captain Mike! "Punch it Chewie" LOL That's cool to have added drone shots. We didn't have that when we went. The first cache is from someone in London. Where we used to live. Three Fizzy spots woohoo!

I was glad to get those Fizzy spots cleared. I am still clearing them off here and there. I think I have 9 to go.

Oh, I have vacationed in Michigan every summer for 15 years. Traverse city Michigan and the peninsula is beautiful bit I have never been out to Power Island. I was there before my geocaching days. Durn it! I adore Lake Michigan from both sides. 😂 Looks like y'all had so much fun and the weather was beautiful!

I was actually wanting to skip on this island because it was a Jasmer that I had already found. Paul talked me into it. :) I am glad I spent the extra time and money on this. You should definitely go as well. Clear the island!!!!

Survivor: Power Island - That would make a great GIFF film. You gotta watch out for Bob Billy though. I'm not saying he's Neil More, but you never see them together, do you?

@@Komikino I actually met Neil at the West Bend Cache Ba$h in Wisconsin. He truly is a great guy. However, I missed seeing Bob Billy in the dunk tank that day because I left the park to pick up lunch. I'm sure it would have been a hoot to meet him as well. I'm actually jealous that you got to meet Bob Billy.
