Thank you! Geoff is an awesome talent! Anyone who doesn't like his stuff isn't human! Geoff has a long list of great songs!

Geoff and his wife Kathy made this video. He and his group VoicePlay that he is a founding member of are independent and do everything themselves.

Yes, that’s all Geoff! He also sings with a group similar to Home Free called VoicePlay. Please check them out as well! ❤

I second this - Voiceplay has the largest genre range of all the acapella groups. Try their rock covers or their ACA (live) 80s/90s rap medley. Geoff is an extraordinary talent. ⚘️🕊

Geoff, as well as his group Voiceplay are 100% independent. They have no label, and with the exception of some camera work and the final edit, they do everything themselves. Geoff does all of the instruments on his keyboard with plugins, but it's all him. Voiceplay is acapella with an occasional violin thrown in. The arrangements are done by Geoff for his channel. He and 2 others do the arrangements for Voiceplay. They do all of the arranging, filming, costuming (there are some pretty awesome ones on both channels) themselves. Since they have no label, they are able to fully put their talents on display with no interference from the outside.

You have entered the rabbit hole of Geoff Castellucci and Voiceplay. Geoff is a, as he puts it, a "barritone with bass tendencies". Us Voiceplayers encourage you to dive in and explore their works

Yes, his first name is Geoffrey but he goes by Geoff. My favorite singer and VoicePlay (he's a founding member since 1997) is my favorite group. What a range Geoff has (5 octaves...3 octaves in full chest voice). He's phenomenal! VoicePlay is a capella. Geoff uses instrumentals but he does it all himself, mostly on his keyboard using plug-ins. He's on all of the streaming platforms. Geoff solo and VoicePlay are 100% indie. Thanks for this reaction to Geoff's epic Christmas release. I have run out of superlatives! A five octave vocal range is a powerful thing. I enjoy the way Geoff arranges music nearly as much as his vocals. Judging by his album art, the Geoffquakes did some damage!

Thank you for a great reaction to Geoff Castellucci. Geoff is amazing and has a 5-octave range. He is the bass singer and a founding member of VoicePlay, an acapella group, that was founded in 1997. We fans of Geoff & VoicePlay love watching reactors first time hearing Geoff & VoicePlay. They are independent artist and depend on their patrons to continue putting out the amazing music that they do. VoicePlay had 2 songs up for consideration for a Grammy this year, but sadly, they weren't chosen. The 2 songs were MJ's "The Way You Make Me Feel" & "Hellfire". Geoff has his own channel and anything you choose, will be good. VoicePlay (also known as the "theater kids" of acapella) has a huge catalog of songs to choose from. Their Christmas song this year is Louie Armstrong's "Zat You Santa Clause". My favorite VoicePlay song is "Valhalla Calling" followed by "Thriller". Again, anything you choose to watch, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy the VoicePlay & Geoff Rabbit hole. I have subscribed in anticipation of more reactions to them.

Who let the dragons play with the bells. Man that is some DRAGON FIRE! What an incredible arrangement and performance with me, myself and I says Geoff. Thanks for covering this!

You would really enjoy, "Just Sing" by Voiceplay. They released it during covid to help raise money for entertainers that couldn't work. You will find a tie in with Home free in the video, as well as be introduced to many talented people. If you do watch it I suggest turning on the captions as they add a lot of information about the people singing.

I'm pretty sure this is playing on NPR. It's for sure playing on MPR which is the Minnesota area. My parents used to take me to concerts when I was a kid and it was all stuff that had some play time on MPR. But this is part of what makes the Internet so amazing... You can find any kind of music anytime... You don't have to rely on what the radio station thinks is popular anymore! THANK GOD FOR THAT 🙏🫶

Geoff and VoicePlay used to do a lot of touring. At this point, 3 of the 4 fellows have kids now and being home is most important. They have kept the creativity within the group and do everything themselves, no contracts, no managers (except for Geoff's wife who is the production manager for both Geoff's solos and VoicePlay's videos.

The way Geoff arranged this, it sounds like a war anthem (I'm not the only one to make this observation) and how poignant it is to me bearing in mind this is a Ukrainian carol and considering the suffering they are enduring, even at this time of year in their war-ravaged country. He sings it like a powerful WAR song to encourage a flagging army. I don't know if that's what he was thinking in his arrangement and production of this, but it's a perspective that strikes me as especially relevant today...not only for Ukraine but for us all. The juxtaposition of the usual sweet angelic feeling of most Christmas music with his deep, almost ominous bass that instills a feeling of revolution is also a powerful reminder that the Christ of which we sing was himself a revolutionary who shook the religious and political structures of his day with a radical message. LOVE ALL. Not just who you approve of. LOVE ALL. This conveys that radical sense to me in a way that shakes everyone who hears this song, sung this way, to their core! To say I love this does not even begin to say enough. I loved your reaction and what you said about us all being endowed by our creator with unique gifts!

The thing about Geoff, is his vocal range, the songs he does are just how he shows his incredible vocal range, particularly his low range. This song has his lowest notes yet.

If you have heard Geoff with VoicePlay before, given your Jackson 5 comment, you should definitely check out their cover of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" featuring DJ Young (who has performed as Aaron Burr on Broadway in Hamilton). Then for fun, check out their Halloween offering from this year of "Thriller" featuring J. None.

Love you! May God continue to bless you mightily. As mentioned below, Geoff is the bass singer for an a capella group called Voice Play. You'll have to listen to them too. One of the top three groups in this genre. They do covers of almost every song style out there. They just came out with a Christmas cover from Louie Armstrong. Check it out.

This one here is 'Carol of the Bells' from inside the cathedral belfry. And while we are running short on time for pre-Christmas, you might still want to check out Geoff's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" if you can fit it in. It is really a wonderful arrangement of an old carol.
