Geoff is 64 yrs old. Queen of the ryche is almost 40 years old and Geoff is still singing it better than 90% of most 20 year old vocalists. He clearly is doing all he can to maintain his voice and it shows. Met him in Seattle a few years back and around the same time his band showed up at a bar I work at and Kieran sang karaoke. It was a trip.

I saw them in late 2022 in Ramona, CA in a small venue. Incredibly amazing and so powerful. Geoff and the band are killing it. I'm bringing my 6 and 10 yr old to catch them again in Oct 2023 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Can't wait!! I missed them in the 90s. While I heard them on the radio and was familiar with their music, I was into 70s Classic Rock and the Grateful Dead at that time, so didn't get the chance to really appreciate them. It's never too late to catch the great stuff. So excited to have my kids feel the power of their set in a small venue.

Honestly if anyone was/is a fan of Geoff I highly recommend going to see him live if you get a chance. KZbin videos, no matter how good, never capture live music well. I saw Geoff in 2022. His voice was amazing. His band is great and fun to watch. I would never pay $$ to see the current QR cover band with Todd, but seeing Geoff is easily worth twice what his tickets cost.

Geoff sounds great! Does he sound like he did 30+ years ago? No, but can you name any rock singer who does? I do think he should drop Take Hold of the Flame from his setlist. He set the bar very, very high with his original recording of it, but it's just too high for him to sing anymore. No disrespect to Geoff at all. He sounds so much better than most from that era.

Im seeing this show September 6th! My 4th time seeing him and first on this tour. Im excited but hope he switches the set up. I can do without the as many Mindcrime songs (seen him do it all plus he just ended the 35th anniversary tour) and I hate to say The Chase just sounded flat (video quality prob didnt help) and I give the guy props but hes no Dio. Plus Geoff sounded kinda flat there and they both werent harmonizing on the same level.
