Hi, everyone! I hope you like the video! Note that at the beginning of the video it says "1.9 million" on the screen, but it should definitely be 1.9 BILLION with a "b", which would match the words I say at that moment. For years I've been telling KZbin that we need a feature that allows creators to upload updated versions of our videos so we can fix things like that, and I imagine lots of other creators have too, but KZbin doesn't seem to think it's important.🤷‍♂

Muslims are not in huge numbers in your country but they are very much part of the country, whether Cape Malay people, or people of Indian descent or indigenous African people. I visited South Africa in 1998 and travelled in Western Cape, where you can find some of the oldest mosques in South Africa, and in KwaZulu Natal where we visited Muslim friends in some townships.

Not only Bangladesh. India alone is big, but not big enough to justify having almost the same population as China when they are 3 times bigger. Pakistan also has an incredible population density too. Just goes to show how prosperous the Indian subcontinent is. Those 3 countries will account for more than 30% of the World's population

I was also fascinated by this factoid once, but on second thought its a bit like being amazed that the population of the moon is 0 despite its enormity compared to any country on earth. Countries like the US, Brazil and China have lots of land, sure, but huge proportions of it are barren or unusable without an impractical amount of investment.

@@hanesco219 I understand, and its good to be positive, but I'm a bit anal about critical thinking, and in this case where some are amazed that the Indian subcontinent has a very high proportion of arable land, all I see is that certain other countries have roughly equal arable land + a load of extra non-arable for non-agricultural use. To use an analogy, its comparable to marvelling at someone for having a single ferrari while his friends each have a ferrari AND a couple of cheaper toyotas. In this situation it'd be strange to admire a person's "ferrari to normal car ratio", as though the ownership of toyotas lessens the value of one's ferrari.
