@widevader Жыл бұрын
@@ThailandRepublicball2378 politically croatia supports ukraine as it is in nato and for some other reasons. Serbia tries to stay neutral, condemning russia and not recognising the new sovereign territory as it would go against everything serbia uses to say kosovo belongs to it, as if they recognised those territories that succeeded it would stand to reason countries territory can succeed which wouldnt be great for serbias argument (thats why spain doesnt recognise kosovo). But serbia did refuse to put sanctions on russia as they are our long standing ally, and it would only harm serbian economy even more if they stopped importing things like russian gas for which serbia heavily relies on, plus the biggest gas companies in serbia are actually russian companies. But that is an unimportant question under a comment about serbia croatia relations

@Stateira_Persia_Iran4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelkowalski1791 Thank you :) What makes a country so likable is the people of that country. We all need love, peace, and unity, it should be something to believe in, and not just something to define our very actions and thoughts. The most important requirement is peace, our struggle for fairness and our desire to reduce inequalities between us. Where there is peace there is abundance. This is humanity in action and it is the power of this humanity, humane behaviour towards other humans. This is not easy, of course, because the human species is ethically ambivalent. The reason that the call for humanity is so loud is because the record of inhumanity is so long. The principle of humanity must keep pace with the ethical evolution of humanity. About 116,000 Polish refugees came to Iran during World War II. We gave them food and shelter. They returned to Poland after the war. The power and might don’t last forever. All empires and powers always have fallen, the sad thing is the lives that are wasted during those dark times. Persians/Iranians are among the most educated people in the world. We Persians love our beautiful and ancient country Iran, and we love and care about our Persian language, culture, traditions, costumes, art, music, literature, etc. Iranians still celebrate the ancient Persian traditions/festivals such as Nowruz (the Persian new year), the night of Yalda, Charshanbe Suri, Sizde be Dar, etc.

Back in my university days in Johannesburg, I had a friend who was Serbian. He never struggled with the pronunciation of my native words unlike most of my compatriots 🤦♂️. His diction was perfect. When I told him that in the orthography of my native tongue my surname should have been spelled as Ma/v/unda and not MABUNDA like it is written he went on to pronounce it perfectly without any coaching. What he told me is that their alphabet is the closest to the phonetic IPA alphabet as one could get 🤔. I don't know how true that was 🤦♂️, but well his diction was perfect 👌.

Yeah man, serbian language is the most evolved in terms of grammar, writing and ease of pronunciation. It is like the old latin language, very clear sounding out of the slavic languages. Yeah, we have a rule "one letter, one sound". Basically, we have 30 letters in our alphabet and each of them has a unique sound connected to it, and there is a lot of phonetic diversity in the alphabet, so it's quite easy for us to pick up dialects.

Greatest love to my good Serbian people. They are also more humble, fair, justiceful, friendly like we Bosnians/Croatians are, the politicians used this to make themselves rich, which is what the current Serbian president is doing, doing anything that takes to hide the identity of commanders who attacked innocent villages and cities in the past and harming the whole country in the process that's why many see it as an "evil country". Well stubborness is not the same as “inat” or “prkos” as we also say in Serbian. Its not the same in Bulgarian also. We have a word “tvrdoglav” meaning strongheaded, thats the word we use for stubbornness, it does not mean doing something out of spite, it means to have make a desicion and strongly stick to it for example, to have an ideal that you do not break at any cost. I think you must have a similar word in Buglarian for that. On the kther hand “Inat” or “out of spite”’is as they explained, trying to do the exact oposite of what you are told just to prove someone is wrong, even if it may hurt you or you have no interest in doing it. Thats the beauty of South-Slavic, we have our words and a bunch of synonyms which are loan words, greeting to you Bulgarian bro 🙏👍🏻

I'm from Brazil, and I know Brazil has had some "unofficial" immigrations of Serbians before WWII. I discovered recently that my great-great-grandmother came alone to Brazil hidden in a ship at the age of four... She didn't have documents on her, but we believe she was originally from Serbia because of her last name (Gojkovich). I could only find pictures of her when she was already advanced in age, but looking at these faces in the video made me see that probably a lot more people in my part of Brazil have some serbian family too... I love the Balkans and I wish to go there visit some day.

@@wilhelm.f.h.5008 Thank you :) Iran/Persia is a cradle of civilization. Iran (Persia) has a great culture, civilization, rich mythology, and history. Rhazes, the father of psychology and psychotherapy, the father of pediatrics, a pioneer in ophthalmology, and also first to categorize the Hospital dept as well. Many scholars consider Rhazes one of the greatest medical doctor. Rhazes also discovered numerous compounds and chemicals including alcohol and sulfuric acid. 3. Did u know that they say the Serbs have Iranian blood, so a mix of Slav and a tiny bit of Iranian from around the Caspian Sea.
@Rose.Flower4 жыл бұрын
@@chicagomike I know :) But Serbs consider themselves Slavs. Sarmatians were Iranian people and they lived in today's southern European Russia and Ukraine. These Sarmatians were also known to the Romans, who conquered the western tribes in the Balkans and sent Sarmatian conscripts, as part of Roman legions, as far west as Roman Britain. These Iranian Scythians and Sarmatians dominated large parts of Eastern Europe for a millennium, and were eventually absorbed and assimilated (Slavicisation) by the Proto-Slavic population of the region. Their territory, which was known as Sarmatia, corresponded to the western part of greater Scythia (mostly modern Ukraine and Southern Russia, also to a smaller extent north eastern Balkans around Moldova).
@Rose.Flower4 жыл бұрын
@@chicagomike Throughout the 1st millennium BC, the large presence of the Sarmatian Iranians who once dominated Ukraine, Southern Russia, and swaths of the Carpathians, gradually started to diminish mainly due to assimilation and absorption by the Germanic Goths, especially from the areas near the Roman frontier, but only completely by the Proto-Slavic peoples. The abundant Iranian-derived toponyms in Eastern Europe proper ( some of the largest rivers, the Dniestr and Dniepr), as well as loanwords adopted predominantly through the Eastern Slavic languages and adopted aspects of Iranian culture amongst the early Slavs, are all a remnant of this. A connection between Proto-Slavonic and Iranian languages is also furthermore proven by the earliest layer of loanwords in the former. For instance, the Proto-Slavonic words for god (*bogъ), demon (*divъ), house (*xata), axe (*toporъ) and dog (*sobaka) are of Scythian/Iranian origin. The Early Slavs interacted with Iranian peoples and merged elements of Iranian spirituality into their beliefs.

@@TML0677 Thank you very much! True, Persian Muslims are very different from Arabs and other Muslims. Persian Muslims have different culture, language, and tradition with Arabs and other Muslims. And most Persians aren't religious. Rather even ignorant of their religion. :) Iranians speak Persian and we have Persian culture, traditions, costumes, art, music, literature, etc. Iranians still celebrate the ancient Persian traditions such as Nowruz (the Persian New Year), the Night of Yalda, Charshanbe Suri, Sizde be Dar, etc. Persians/Iranians are among the most educated people in the world. Even, religious Persian Muslims (many Persian Muslims are not religious) consider Nowruz (the Persian New Year) to be the most important festival of the year. There are literally millions of non-Muslim Iranians. Iranian Muslims have more in common with them than they do with the rest of the Muslim world.
