Well it's time for the BRICS- New World Order to come up with a default reserve currency or simply go back to gold as the reserve. It will be too chaotic for each country to trade in their respective currencies with the daily change in exchange rates.

You may not be aware of this but Australia is in the same position. We had barely escaped the British Empire stranglehold in 2019 when the US took over following the bombing of Darwin in 1942. Post-WWII we successfully established an egalitarian economy in which every family could own a home and car and every worker enjoyed paid annual holidays and sick leave from work. In 1975, Whitlam discovered Pine Gap was a US spy base and several top etchlon leaders worked for the CIA, and so he prepared to eliminate this threat. He was immediately sacked as part of a CIA/MI6 coup d'etat and we have been annexed by the US ever since, with all media, mining, military, government, and corporate control dictated by the US. Three million are now homeless and 60% live in poverty. We are fighting for a restoration of national sovereignty and, two weeks ago, successfully forced the US to remove an illegal missile launching platform. Fourteen bases to go. I tell you this so you know the ordinary Australians have no say in global politics. One day we will seek support for our independence from Sahel nations, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

@@tonyryan43well put. Every major "ally" close to the US is in economic and political strife - Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine. It appears doing what the US says results in your country facing economic and political problems. Australia needs to stand on its own otherwise it stands to lose the same way as those allies. Look at the way the US hedge funds are playing the Australian dollar, sending it on an unjustified roller coaster ride.

Love your bringing all these stats to the table, esp the 10% of US GDP being physical manufacturing! My suspicion is the US is exerting enormous backroom pressure on countries to not join BRICS and for those in it to leave. The odd behaviours of India Brazil Turkey Saudi Arabia and Argentina all lend credence to this. If BRICS succeeds in divorcing itself from Western control I can see the US in particular not being able to import many goods at all, and also not being able to afford to import them when the dollar reaches its true value. I foresee the US resorting to war, threats of war, sanctions and assassinations to prevent BRICS from succeeding in establishing independence from the West.

Singapore has low tax rates for their citizens, no estate tax, and no capital gains tax. Yet their universal healthcare system, like Japan's, is one of the best in the world. Western countries unfair and unpredictable sanctions, tariffs, single payment mechanism and dominant currency is preventing growth and development of the poor and developing countries. BRICS currency is the saviour and it may even benefit the West indirectly by reducing the illegal migration if the developing and poor countries grow in the future. Hence US and its allies must actually encourage and support BRICS pay system and a new BRICS currency as well. Period 😀😃😎

BRICS wants to build a new currency. It is also worth noting that gold has historically been used as a store of value and a means of exchange, and some countries still hold significant amounts of gold in their reserves. However, it is unclear how a new currency backed by gold would function in the current global financial system and whether it would gain widespread acceptance. Ultimately, any decision to create a new currency would be subiect to numerous economic, political, and logistical considerations.
@larrypaul-cw9nk9 күн бұрын
It's interesting to learn more about the discussions and proposals around BRICS nations and their potential use of gold. There are several reasons why people may choose to buy gold, including its historical use as a store of value and means of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Additionally, gold can offer diversification benefits to investment portfolios, as it tends to have a low correlation with other asset classes like stocks and bonds. However, it's important to note that investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for evervone. and investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before making any decisions.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar.
