George and Mildred theme

Recreation of the 1978 George and Mildred opening theme tune from Series 4. I created this in Cubase in February 2020, finishing it off in October 2020 and used the HALion Sonic SE (with Halion Symphonic Orchestra), Spitfire Audio BBCSO Discover and EZdrummer VST instruments along with some classical guitar and shaker. The theme was composed by Roger Webb. This version was created by Oliver Sacker.

Hi Oliver, love your recreation of the second George and Mildred theme tune - such an authentic and lovingly done recreation! It's a slight shame it's not longer though (as in the closing titles version) - otherwise, great stuff!

The original was called, 'Graphic Brown', by Roger Webb on Media Music MMSE01 - Number 22 - Multi-images.

The Roger Webb composition is better than the Johnny Hawksworth one. Although Hawksworth's 'Up to date' used on Man About the House is pretty amazing

Cheers. The amount of time depends on the complexity of the original arrangement. I often work on a few recreations at once, so it's difficult to say how long each one takes in total.
