Not to say he didn't verbally have society by the short and curlies with his previous work,he was never one to hold back, but after Brenda died, he seemed to retreat within himself as far as lightening it up by mentioning any good things went. Still,I miss his candid commentary. I also love that he supported the LGBT community long,long before it was fashionable to do so. He made a lot of jokes at our expense,but it wasn't anything we weren't already saying about ourselves,lol.
