They are stupid inventions. I hate them and the people who wear them for two main reasons. First they look ridiculous. When I see someone having a conversation on one I'm not sure whether or not they're a lunatic until I see it clearly. But the people who wear them think they look cooler than the love child of James Dean and the Fonz. Second whenever one of these arse holes have these things on and are having a conversation they always talk really fucking loud. Disturbing everyone within a 500 metre radius.

+Pretty Jay What I hate even worse is when these bluetooth assholes are near you, start talking out of nowhere while looking at you and you don't realize they're on the phone and you think they're talking to you. Sometimes I'd have what I thought was a small conversation with them before I realize they're not even talking to me, then they think you're an idiot for responding. I have this happen with receptionists as well, though now I wait to be sure they're talking to me and not someone on the phone. Then they think you're an idiot for thinking they're on the phone and not talking to you.

My dad actually has one of those but he doesn't just walk around and use it all the time. when he isn't at work he will always just pick up his phone. in cases where he is at work, he can't hold the phone to his head to talk. He's a truck driver and he likes to have both hands on the wheel at all times for other peoples safety. he's in a big rig he ain't to fucken worried about hitting a Prius. in that case, it doesn't annoy me. but when you're in the store or even at home and you just have it on and use it...that bugs me.

Famous4DoingUrMom Chill out. It's comedy. Carlin isn't serious when he says "Here's some more people who deserve to die in front of their children." In politically correct terms, he's saying "Here's some more people that really bug me," but the politically correct way isn't funny. The only arrogance is yours, as you see someone who enjoys a comedians act as arrogant.

@@PapagenoMF Your nostalgia is blinding you. Carlin made jokes about gays, and pretty much everyone (Seriously just search "George Carlin gay" on youtube and there's plenty to watch). Just like Chappelle. We can't say for sure how he'd act if he were still alive today, but I'd bet a lot of money on him defending Dave from the crazy people criticizing and trying to police his speech. Most comedians today feel this way, but don't have the stones to say it out loud because the outrage mob is ever watching, like the goddamn eye of Sauron.

For those of u who think of the older George Carlin as being this angry guy comic who was pissed off at everything, just remember if you're old enough to have followed his career from the early seventies, his comedic style stayed the same but the manner he projected it changed. George had to change to stay relevant in a more hip, evolving and to him younger world. This angry person was just a caricature of himself to retell his jokes that at this point in his career could have been over. Instead he reinvented his delivery style to be of this angry guy. George's jokes much of which was highly intelligent and accurate was also satirical and exaggerated for the sake of making people laugh at absurdities. Don't listen with such austerity.

Very good comment - would only add that for whatever reason he got funnier as he aged unlike 99% of the comedic universe who go the other way. A real outlier.

Kissinger died today. The mere mention of his name sent me looking for this clip, maybe not the the most flattering eulogy…. But I suppose, in the immortal words of Burgess Meredith…”Well just as long as you find me, darling”. Three great men who are sorely missed. May they all rest in peace.
