If you had a standard BBQ would you stick the food on before it got hot lol. Wouldn't it had been better to first turn the BBQ on , wait till it got hot then see how long it took to cook some sausages ?

Looks like a decent grill. I would have washed the grill before I cooked on it, since you never know who handled it or what kind of chemicals are on it.

Got one of these a few years ago. Think I paid nine quid (bargain) . An excellent piece of kit. We rarely use the stand and have it sitting on a work top if inside or our outside storage unit.

@@Verolader mother in law's place. Bought it in UK and took it across. Need to make sure you haven't got loads of stuff on at same time or it trips the electricity.

You need a fan for your fire simon!!! I got mine for £20 they run off the heat of the fire. EBay and Amazon sell them.

My mother has one of these electric bbq’s I was disgruntled when I had to use it You simply can’t beat wood coals or gas to cook meat low and slow. I’m not a fan of the electric bbq

I think it's a great product for dieters or little girls who want to play BBQ but you can't compare it to a propane powered Grill

In the uk all ovens come (afaik) with a built in 'grill'. They can be gas or electric, but never use charcoal.

I love this thing, cook veggie burgers and sausages, even make pizzas! I love to douse the crust in garlic butter, and the excess gets soaked up through the rest of the pizza along the way to the drain, and makes it a bit crisper. 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
