When I saw this video for the first time i was paying much attention to the double bass exercises Mr. Kollias was showing, but when I listen to that snare solo at the end I was just blown away cause I really loved that groove and feel in the drums and I wasnt expecting to listen that. A few days later I realized that was a John Bonham drum track played in the "In through the outdoor" Now I understand why I was so blown away. John Bonham best ever.

I count 16th notes as "1e&a2e&a3e&a4e&a" how should I be counting 32nd notes?? Help appreciated. :)

At a certain speed it gets too fast to count every single hit. Only count the hits of your leading foot or even only every second hit of your leading foot. Counting is only some sort of tool to make certain things easier - you don't want to learn how to count but how to play the drums...

Throwing quintuplets and septuplets into this makes for a really cool exercise!

is he leading with his left foot or is the audio just out of sync

Right foot. And he uses only ankle motion at the 32nd note speed.

Now do it cross over style.......same with thrash beats. Much harder when playing crossed over.

I think its a nice clean bass sound. Might not be the greatest bass sound, but it think its good for the video?
