My theory is after Fundy and Tubbo did the ritual the Dreamon part of Dream and the human part of Dream were separated and that DreamXD isn’t actually a God but calls himself God because everyone else calls him god. He’s instead a really powerful Dreamon.

I just figured somethings out. 1. Canonically dream was one of George’s only friend. If dream started becoming controlling and manipulative then George would honestly think using each other is friendship. 2 since dreamXD is a god pretty sure dream is named after them. Dream calls himself dream was taken. It’s very unlikely he will be able to manipulate anybody now. So what is gonna do to create the chaotic server he wants now?

"That was a good prank" dreamxd is live dream but without the constant false pretenses of trying to be a puppet master. Normal dream has very little inherit power and has to trick and steal and play from the shadows to win, and has a very serious tone, compared to dreamxd who is innately powerful and doesn't need any machinations in order to rule, and so has a more jovial and fun personality. I like the separation. And if you wanna take it one step further, dreamxd has 2 personalities in the same body when counting drista, while dream has the exact opposite situation of having one personality split between 2 people when counting ranboos voice.
