GREAT playing and video - Only thing you didn't do were his signature wide intervallic stretches - where he pulls a 3 note per string starting with a c on the a string, 1st finger and ending on the twelfth fret with his pinky

Are you talking about wide vibrato using the regular up/down motion or the sliding "jack off" vibrato that George does? The wide vibrato I cover in my vibrato course, the sliding vibrato I cover in the Lynch course 👍

Impressive Is it ok to pull the fretting fingers far away from the fretboard while playing? Some players say the fretting fingers should be as close as possible to the fretboard in order to play fast

If it happens automatically then don't worry about it. As long as you can still play what you want then that's all a technique's job has to do
