Is it selfish to say that I want more? I am the same age that George would be right now. Every Sunday after the obligatory Italian dinner with pasta and meatballs, antipasto and crusty bread at Grandma's house, our group all left and came to my house. Guys and girls. We would watch George doing a live concert. I know we were all looking and picking apart all the little special pieces that were in each of his songs. We called it The George Michael Club. This beautiful song is on My Wishes list to be played at my eventual cremation. Someone asked me once, What is the most precious gift you can give to someone, I answered Love, he said No, it's Time. You can't get it back, use your time wisely in your life. That thought never left me & when I listened to this song by George, I totally got it. Thank you George for your beautiful, heartbreakingly honest songs, this has always been my favourite. RIP George, you were & are loved by many. We miss you. Now, I can hear the range of George's voice. His lows were so rich and his highs were so sweet. I always say, make me believe that you mean it! I believe you, George. I would have loved to see George writing his music. How did he do It? what state of mind did he need to be In? Did George write the lyrics first or the instrumental part? Was it different each time or a combo? I guess what I'm saying is, I would have loved being a fly on the wall. To be there in such a personal way. Boy, what a treasured experience that would be.
