@@fitzshawn5268 No they didn't, they edited out textures which is quite apparent and clothes in the game are definitely a lot better looking, they changed the hud making it easier to see enemies on the map and whether they are up high or on the same level as you, the weapon wheel is changed so instead of having to pause the game and go through an annoying weapon selection you just go straight into a weapon selection whilst also still seeing the game in the background, allowing for easier access. They also added double low profile kills into the game and they even gave you the ability to free aim weapons. This isn't some lazy remaster, it's definitely one of the better remasters out there.

This is an alternate timeline of Assassin's Creed 3 (Mainly playing out in George Washington's and Connor's heads as a vision of what will happen if George holds the Apple's power.), where George Washington becomes a tyrant king. The mysterious man at the end is what's believed to be a figment of George's imagination, possibly caused by a bit of corruption from touching the Apple in the first place. It's kind of like his evil side, if you will. After their visions end, George tells Connor to get rid of the Apple as soon as he can, so that this timeline never comes true, and as you saw, Connor drops it into the depths of the ocean.

I kind of hope Ubisoft makes another game about Connor where it shows him contending with the future of the Brotherhood and what he should do with it. Unfortunately Ubisoft made it so the story would end on the note of not knowing what happens to Connor as he’s left to stay on the Homestead while all he accomplish was helping colonist declare freedom from another nation, where they can now freely in slave and kill those who aren’t white folk. I’m fine if they don’t make another game about Connor when he’s older as the third game was already great and had a amazing ending, I’m just saying I would buy a next assassins creed game with him as the protagonist again if they did so. As long it isn’t rpg themed.

the remaster improved the lighting but pretty much every AC before unity has really trash character models that look even worst when in modern lighting. It was an issue in the other remasters as well people instantly called it out lmao

In Odyssey, AC's lore has been modified: only the Tainted Ones (Adam and Eve's descendants) like Kassandra or Alexios are able to use Isu Artifacts like the Apple or the Pyramid, regular humans can not. Regarding Layla and the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus, I admit i'm confused about this, or maybe she is more then we thought and Atlantis DLC has a lot of things to reveal...

Actually it's been recton since Odyssey, because in AC4 Mary Read says everyone has Isu genes so many are descended from Adam and Eve but some need more training to unlock that Isu part of them while some are naturally born "gifted"

Actually in AC lore since the beginning regular humans could never use first civ/ISU items. Every human that exists has ISU DNA but in small proportions. Assassin's and Templars have higher which is why Eagle vision is easier and they're more super human. That's one of the main reasons they needed Desmond and others like him. He was sage been awhile but I think he was 17% ISU. What you said about Layla is right doesn't make any sense in the lore. Especially that if you don't have any ISU DNA the items are basically paperweights and or outright kill you. Well like you said Ubisoft change the lore ...

@@David-nq8cv I know his son is a Sage. But years ago before he son even existed he was confirmed a sage by a producer. Maybe that's non canon now 🤔 Also Desmond's ISU DNA was confirmed years old to be around that at AC4 .

@@IsmaelCiulla as far as I know, connor meets faulkner in a bar in the dlc, convinces him to take connor to NY in exchange for the aquila, they then go to new york but they are under heavy fire, so connor decides to crash the ship against the enemy, while everyone else (including faulkner) abandons ship, faulkner is never seen or mentioned again after that (as far as I know).
