My favorite Norm Peterson line, as he enters the bar, of course was a reply to, I believe, Woody Harrelson's greeting of, "Hey Mr. Peterson, what's shakin'? was, "Four cheeks and two chins."!

You do hear Norm's wife, Vera on a few occasions. Off the top of my head, there's one where she joins the gang at Carla's Thanksgiving dinner (she gets a pie in the face which is why we don't get to see what she looks like), one where she's hired by John Allen Hill upstairs at Melville's and one where Sam locks himself out of the bar and needs to find a place to sleep because his apartment is being fumigated. He goes to Norm's place and you can hear Vera.
