All television journalist appear in dyed hair, some more and often than others, some not at all, you can tell who’s who by a ‘quick look see’ the next time you watch a televised newscast. I’m thinking dyed hair on journalist heads has always been present, was largely unnoticed, but these days it seems to have reached an ingrained and noticeable stage. I love to compare an over the air newscast to one from a cable network, and yes, there is a difference, over the air, the anchor report two and two are four, and that is the news, on cable the anchor report, two and two are four, but then, the subject is open to discussion by a panel of male black topped dye head experts and journalists and a cadre of blond dye head female news contributors. The false takeaway is, the more pleasant looking fake dye head journalists, the more viewers, now who in their right mind, that hunger for information, watches a news and information program because of the appearance of the journalist, somebody must, otherwise, hair dyed journalist on televison would be a nonexistence, instead they are all over the market place of newscasts as a greater part of news programing. And my greatest fear is the permanent damage to our environment through deregulation and failure to address global warming and its environmental impacts. We have so little time remaining to act. That's why I have become politically active for the first time in my life. Voting should be a priority for all, and it's blossoming in our society. But we all must take personal responsibility to get involved in activism at the local level so that it mushrooms into a movement that will usher in a new era of investment in next generation technologies that will eliminate green house gasses, remove pollutants from the air while eliminating generation of waste streams into our water table and oceans. It's a huge undertaking, with astronomical initial costs, but staying the course will result in even greater costs in this never ending cycle of disaster relief. It is possible to change, but without dramatic changes in the near term, it will be too late. That's why we must all get engaged in the process. Our electorate will shape the future, and the Donald Trumps of the world will become a distant memory of a barbaric history. The next election cycle will dramatically correct our projectory into the future, but only if we retake our government through grass routes actions that will require every one of us to reject the partisan politics and embrace a new future, where laws and monetary policy favor planet and people over greed, and donor mentality is removed from political discourse through laws that prohibit dark money from campaigns, and intellectual, psychological, and ethical standards are written into law to prevent the emotionally and intellectually handicapped from gaining the highest positions in government. There is so much to do and so little time to do it. The 2020 election purge and Congessional term limits are so very critical to our future. Get engaged, get involved, for future generations hang in the balance, and our very existence is in jeopardy, not by this president, but by what we may fail to do to correct our course for future generations.
