I saw you live playing with the Lonely Heartstrings in a little town called Lowville in NY and it was an experience I'll never forget. Super clean cover, haven't heard this song since I was a kid in the early 70's. I was intrigued with how Van Gough was in such a poor state of mental health he cut off his own ear in attempt to silence the hallucinations he heard, Eventually he shot himself in the chest while in a bout of depression. Shortly before he died he was quoted as saying "The saddness will go on forever".
