It’s movement 3. One of the most bipolar, yet great sounding song that’s ever been written. I swear that Beethoven must have been simply flexing around this time. This movement is almost like him saying “bruh, yeah I’m deaf and I can’t hear this shit, but it sounds better than anything you could ever write or play you dumb critics”. Critics would be nobles/elites in his time, so I guess not much has changed in that sense. But the fact he put out this FU movement is one of my favorite moments in music history.

In the opening minute you see two adults in conversation, standing in place where one plays, while a young boy stands, watching, waiting, without intruding into their space. The adults never acknowledge the boy. They finish at their own pace, and walk away. Boy approaches with a grateful sense of awe, takes his time to fit into the surroundings, while adjusting his seat position. He tunes a bit. Then the arm lifts and fingers search and art is born right there in the park. Absolute gem of a minute with the silent encounter, that blooms into song.Godspeed young man on your voyage, you will shine.

That is merely a lack of exposure to a wider variety of music from more cultures speaking. No demerit at all to the classical and romantic composers, they are excellent, but there are other equally graceful and passionate elaborate music genres around the world including traditional algharnati and east Asian music, as well as the subcontinents music.

george harliono the talent you have is not only a God given gift but the proof of countless hours of playing/ training . How many children these days can sit down still and do only that? Perseverance is a skill not too often found these days. From the very first scene on this clip while respectfully waiting for your turn to the beauty of your playing I can say that all it’s due to very strong family values taught since you were a small child. Cudos to your parents and to you! Keep the great work!

That piece he played by Beethoven (it’s actually the presto agitato movement of opus 27, sonata #14) is one of my favorites. It’s incredibly difficult to play. A very advanced piece. And to play it at ELEVEN IS PRODIGY LEVEL. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. JUST INCREDIBLE. I used to love to put that record on and play along with it. The music would lift me out of my body and carry me away. Magic. Pure magic, when you can connect with what you’re playing and almost get inside the music and it pours out of you as you pour into it. Soaring. Beautiful. Powerful. Those who play an instrument or sing will know what I’m talking about. All others, well it may sound a little nuts 😂🤣 but it really is like that. Sadly RA has stopped me from playing now. I long to play so much that I dream of it in my sleep. But when this wonderful young musician was playing, I got to soar again. Thank you young man. You have a tremendous gift. The power to bring people together and touch their souls. And let yours fly. Never lose that. Treasure it always. Bless you, and may you soar far 😉👍💯🔥❤️

The Norm Show it’s in the same family as lupus actually. But I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. My own immune system attacks the connective tissue of my joints. I have it in my spine shoulders, elbows, ankles and unfortunately in my hands. It’s extremely painful, to the point where A feather touch on the joint sends me through the roof even on medicine. it’s a disease that comes in flares and it’s worse during these times. I can’t really leave the house when it’s really really bad. Unfortunately it has ruined my hands and fingers preventing me from playing and it’s very debilitating. It leads to twisted fingers etc and I have some twisting in my fingers now. There is no cure. It can only be medicated but not stopped. I’m not complaining though. I’m alive which is something to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family and a beautiful home, food in the fridge, running and hot water, all the creature comforts etc. it’s more than some people have. A lot of people are far worse off than me. I’m thankful everyday for all I have. Grateful even. Chin up as they say 😉

Dear Mr.Harliono, thank you for your reply. I watched and listened to your other videos. Your beautiful sounds fascinate me so much. That 11-years-old boy who played piano on the street, became such a splendid pianist now, didn't he! Superb! Thank you for your warm-hearted gifts! ...from Japan with love.♡

It's amazing how a little child could keep focus with so many distractions around him!

It's the everyday people who need more uplifting by his music than concert goers!

I couldn’t help but think that this is a much better place for music than in some dusty concert hall

There is something hilarious about an 11-year-old being able to play Beethoven while people twice his age record in portrait.

@PK India, sorry lad, it is actually portrait. Landscape is larger, so before you go around calling people dumb, you should double check your facts, mate.

@@XCBXII I'm confused. Isn't this video in landscape.
@XCBXII5 жыл бұрын
@milksomecows Now that I think about it, yeah, the video is in Landscape, I just thought PK India said that the video was filmed in portrait. That was my bad.
@XCBXII5 жыл бұрын
@milksomecows Or it was maybe that PK India was saying that more people record in Landscape than Portrait, but I am not sure.

Whenever I watch these street performances, I always like to watch and read the crowd gathering behind him. George has the ability to totally captivate all those passers-by that don't know anything about classical music. As for George. . . there are lots of piano players. Only a few of them are true musicians. Then there are just fewer still of the truly gifted artists. And then you can count in single digits those that can play anything and add that special feeling - that soul - that puts them in a special class. George is definitely one of the latter and I never get tired of listening to him. Forget that he's 11 years old at the time. He is a musical genius period.
