@@David-hj6en and you would be making a losing argument. WW back then was a talent stacked murderers row. There are very little filler fights for GSP during his reign, as opposed to Masvidal x2 Colby x2. This was all pre-usada, so the talent stacked lightweights were all beefed up to welterweight. There's a reason that era of welterweight is widely considered to be one of the densest, most talented divisions of all time.

Only now seeing this interview I realize that's such a rare (understatement) occasion for the man behind this huge and multidimensional thing that is UFC to open up before our eyes. I honestly have a pretty ambiguous opinion about public persona and deeds as a businessman of Dana, but I never doubted myself on respecting him. There's a huge difference between him doing a random podcast and doing a podcast with fighters, who shed blood, sweat and tears in the octagon. Thank you, Dana

@@Travvv94 I think that's a bit of an excuse. Messi is the equivalent of Jordan in football and he was nowhere near as unlikable as MJ nor did he do the same actions. You've got Sachin in cricket, Frederer/Nadal in Tennis and the list goes on. As for Dana's case, there's no logical excuse for not being there. A single PPV is nothing, it has no significant bearing on Dana's success.
