I'm sick of hearing people say that Kamaru Usman is the GREATEST welterweight of all time. Have they ever heard of GSP? GSP was just short of 10 title defences, while Kamaru beat 3 different fighters in his reign. Still impressive and definitely puts him 2nd in the all time welterweight rankings, but not even close to St. Pierre.

There are very little filler fights for GSP during his reign, as opposed to Masvidal x2 Colby x2. This was all pre-usada, so the talent stacked lightweights were all beefed up to welterweight. There's a reason that era of welterweight is widely considered to be one of the densest, most talented divisions of all time.

Only now seeing this interview I realize that's such a rare (understatement) occasion for the man behind this huge and multidimensional thing that is UFC to open up before our eyes. I honestly have a pretty ambiguous opinion about public persona and deeds as a businessman of Dana, but I never doubted myself on respecting him. There's a huge difference between him doing a random podcast and doing a podcast with fighters, who shed blood, sweat and tears in the octagon. Thank you, Dana

I wish Cejudo was always like this. Knew his shiznit, was humble, fact based. Made others feel important, listened, didn’t one up everyone. What a great interview Champ Usman was great as always but Henddry did phenomenal here

Not saying I agree with Danas decision but that is the cost of success. A lot of people didnt like the things Michael Jordan did but the success always had a cost somewhere. A lot of multi millionaire businessmen sacrifice their own family.

@@Travvv94 I think that's a bit of an excuse. Messi is the equivalent of Jordan in football and he was nowhere near as unlikable as MJ nor did he do the same actions. You've got Sachin in cricket, Frederer/Nadal in Tennis and the list goes on. As for Dana's case, there's no logical excuse for not being there. A single PPV is nothing, it has no significant bearing on Dana's success.

He defended the flyweight belt once and won a vacant bantamweight belt, then didn’t defend it… leaving not 1 belt vacated, but 2 belts vacated… while in his prime… he could have become a superstar, and gave it all up before he even became “popular”. Yeah Dana was pissed

Dana has been known to hold onto grudges. Henry got a title shot against Sterling after coming out of retirement. if Dana really didnt like him he wouldve never let that fight happen.
