I have equal respect for both GSP and Khabib; there are many similarities between them, not only in their winning performances and domination, but also between their personal values, legacies, and how they impacted and improved the sport. I firmly believe that GSP was one of the dominant forces for USADA rules to come through. Khabib was a voice behind bringing back respect within the sport. Both were INSTRUMENTAL as UFC ambassadors. I think Khabib vs GSP may take place at 165 LBS., but obviously outside of UFC, and likely as a charity event.

I'm a simple guy from a regular village in the mountains of Dagestan, who came over here. Just yesterday my brother told me: "According to Google you are the most discussed person on the planet". I simply couldn't believe it, because if you can imagine, I never had any of this on my mind, it was just my father and I dreaming of becoming the champion one day. I could have never imagined so much could happen to me. If you have parents, be close to them, and that's it. I have only one parent left, my mother. I would like to dedicate more time to her".

Both are exceptional humble AND respectful champions, non-trash talkers with MASSIVE worldwide followers, I could see the main difference already compared with other fights PC. Other PC: I am so good, see my past accomplishments, see all my opponents bad stuffs. Im gonna win. Khabib/GSP PC; Khabib: I know i am good with unbeaten 29-0 winning streak and #1 P4P BUT pls respect my opponent, he is soo good and amazing. He is a 2 division champion and retired as a champion, he is the greatest and my idol. GSP: No no brother, i know i am very good, a two division champion, but Khabib is the most dominant and scariest fighter ever, totally unbeaten in 11 years with 29-0 record.
