BIG BEAUTIFUL VALTRA Q305 Using a SUMO TRIO

My mate has had a 305 hp Valtra Q305 on demo, I thought it'd be rude if I didn't go and have a quick look at it.

Seeing the new stuff is good viewing George. Makes you wonder what the future holds as tractors getting bigger and more hi-tec. When I was a kid a FW60 was stratospheric hp but now as you proved with a john deere on the dinoday of over 400hp at the shaft...👍

Hi George, she is a BEAST of a tractor and love the colour and they are a nice looking and well made tractor, i have never driven one b4 but id like to take one for a test drive or even to pull it with something. Even when she was pulling that SUMO TRIO she was ticking away and there was no heavy pull on her.

Had a look at these at Agricultural college open day, Valtra had stand and a few tractors and the star off the show s class , which i sat in, and what a awesome machine.

@@GeorgeSaunders erm overall it has mate yeh, saying that I did have to replace the injectors last summer and that was costly. Other than that it’s been absolutely fine and this is my 3rd year with it. Not even an advisory on the MOT 👍

Hey George about 3 years ago I drove a Valera for a few hours on a job interview and I still say to this day it’s the best tractor I have driven it was just so easy to drive and operate

The Q series has the Fendt Vario gearbox with the 7.4 Sisu, the T series can have Valtra's Direct CVT gearbox, but the Fendt Vario is faaar smoother.

Have a look at hiring in some contenders over the summer. I know you can get Demos off dealers but it's not a real reflection of a day's work. Need to have a few weeks in one to truly understand all its issues and benefits.

Hi George, the trio is yours? The Valtra tractors use the Fendt Vario transmission with different mapping, settings and another control unit. Fendt has it protected and will never offer its settings to other brands. My brother drives a Valtra T174 fully equipped but with a massey transmission with full powershift. The tractor is OK, but the gearbox does not know what it is doing and what it should do.

Valtra makes the ML260 for Q and S themselves in Finland. The CVT in T and N are designed by Valtra and have nothing in common with fendt.

Wat is with the round nose on the front of them valtras ( makes it look like a hairdressers tractor ( all these curves) 😂. Thank God MF didnt do that or Fendt. Valtra Valmet 8950 nice 👌. They just couldn't leave things alone 🙄. If it's not broke don't fix it
