JCB FASTRAC SHOPPING AT OLIVER LANDPOWER!!

The day has finally arrived! I am at Oliver Landpower to pick up my new tractor. But which one? I'd have them all! 8330, 4220, 3170 and a lovely 125, they certainly make a spectacular line-up!

If I had the money and could justify the price and on going running costs then I'd opt for the 4220, lovely machine. With your growing fleet I could see a little side line in contracting, extra income for the farm..

Bringing back memories of my 3220. Saw you change from 4th to 6th, I used to drive mine like that. New accumulators, bushes and front shocks would be on my checklist for yours. Enjoy, best Fastracs made till the 4220.

I know that look on your face. I have a 3220 and a 4220 and the 32 just puts such a smile on my face every time I take it on the road! The 42 is nice I have a loader on it but it's not a driver's machine to computer controlled. I have the exact same problem with the hydraulics dealer just said unplug the slice that has the problem tractor has lots of outlets anyway. Best of luck with the tractor!

I would take the 125 without a second thought, I have a 125 that I believe was 145th or 45th of the line but I may be wrong, she’s a lovely beast, just needs an overhaul really but hard to find the parts

That fastrac 125 was my cousin Graham’s and i used it for harvest 2019 hauling bales, and his fastrac 135 hauling wheat. I was gonna purchase the 125 off him but Oliver landpower beat me too it.

My neighbors "big" tractor (John Deere 8110) will do about 25 MPH top end. I've never been in high gear with it for more than a quarter mile, because there are no rounds in the state of Illinois, USA that are fit to drive over 15 MPH.

I’ve just got the TierV after my 2016 4220 … a lot more refined and I absolutely love it … but the sheer driving experience of the old 3000 series and that bark is something else , I spent many 1000’s of miles driving them !

Nice one George! (yeah, Im watching them in the wrong order :P) . "Which one would you take?" I think I'd take the 4220. The 8330 looks great but... it might be a bit too big (if there is such a thing :P). There is a JCB 4220 running around in this area, and it looks lovely and according to it's owner it's realy comfy too (he's more of a Claas-guy he said, but when it comes to tractors, the JCB is the one to have according to him).

Hey George,I bloody love the Fastracs and We had a 155/85,back in Wales in the early nineties. Fly down the road,wheelspin in every field. I had a 2005,3220 here in NZ and a 2018 4220,it did blow it's front pto gbox after 900hrs and the handbrake caliper fell off up in the NZ high country They were awesome,the dealership wasn't. I now run a 2021 Fendt 930 Gen6. Best job i ever did.

3170 is one of the best fastracs ever. A bit. Slower than the 175 but still a weapon. I drive a 1135 and for a small tractor, its amazing.

Good to see some joy! Back in '03-'05 while in trade school in Northeast Iowa I worked for a dairy farmer and custom cutter who had two of that same model, excellent very productive tractors. I ran them pulling silage wagons away from the choppers in the hills of that region, as well as pulling double 650 bushel wagons of high moisture corn to be bagged or blown into silos. I was blown away by the speed, handling, and comfort of those machines. If I recall correctly you have the choice of 36 speeds. It was like driving a truck and tractor combined. Could go where silage trucks couldn't but would go down the road nearly as quickly.
