Heard a story on Christian radio this morning, a Tennessee LEO said he was eating at a Cracker Barrel, when he went up to pay, the cashier said two Black girls had paid his bill and left him a note, which read " Black lives matter, but so does yours, lunch is on us, take care." We all need to stick together, see through the lies and the herd mentality. You do it through loving your neighbor as yourself.

@Gengis Khan I suggest you do research on the individuals who have been made "saints" and the situations in which they were shot. These men resisted, fought and attacked the LEOs, their background were all of being thugs, lawbreakers. The guy shot on Kenosha raped a women with her child beside her, stole her credit card and her car. This was never reported, it never is, because it doesn't fit the media narrative.. Have some Cops used violent force illegally? Yes, and they were punished. nothing is perfect in this world, including YOU or me.

Specifically, the clerical workers behind the scene for 911, First Responders, Paramedics, Firefighters, Police and Sheriff Officers, which pretty much includes all of the EMS in each community. What a perfect way to explain it, “The Weight of The Badge”. Most will never know the extent of what law enforcement officers 👮♀️have to deal with throughout their career. For most LEOs this wasn’t a career choice, IT WAS A CALLING. Because it truly takes a unique individual to volunteer to put their lives on the line for a stranger. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

God bless our police. Another great song from George

It always gets me excited to hear that someone is interested in law enforcement. It’s not a job, it’s a calling - like being a priest or a nun. If pay is all you’re after, the amount of danger this job puts you in is not worth it. It’s only worth it if you actually care about your community. 0.4% of Americans are serving in the military on active duty like I did. Even less are law enforcement professionals. It’s a small family.

I have family members in law enforcement. I have some friends that are retired LEO's also. They're some of the FINEST people out there. This song is such a fitting tribute to all of those that do or did wear a badge. I'm a believer that it takes a special kind of person to do a job that so many (these days) look down on. It seems so thankless at times, but these people do the job without fail, without thanks, and without the recognition that they deserve. It's heartbreaking really. To anyone that reads this that puts his or her life on the line daily to keep us safe......I thank you. And the rest of us that respect your calling thank you as well. God bless all of you. May God protect you with His mighty armor. Much love and respect, >Mav

As the grandson and nephew of a fallen officers every time I hear this song or songs like it I take a knee and remove my hat and take a minute of silence to respect the dead my best friends dad was killed in a drug bust and on the day of his funeral I was being picked up from work and my boss says you’re not going anywhere and I told him to have some fucking respect and to shove it all of my coworkers took my side

I have a son in law enforcement and boy did this song ever hit home. I sat here thinking of all the arrest he has made and how some of them were very tough and close calls. The many times he has saved innocent lives. My eyes wasn't dry for thirty minutes or so, just knowing he's one of the good guys. He doesn't comprise with any one and so far he has come home to his family for the last 11 year's. I know God's hand is on him. A cop is all he ever wanted to be scence he was two years old. He was born to be a cop. Thank God for George Strait and this song. Thank God for all the fallen LEO's for their sacrifice and their families who gave up their fallen hero's. May they rest in peace.

Colorado lost a trooper Wednesday in a blizzard while he was out trying to help a stranded motorist. This song is for him and all the others who've lost their lives helping and protecting people.

I wish I could agree with you Sir, I have seen so much hate against me as a white officer from the black community in London. I am scarred for life. Putting everyone together is not a good idea in my experience. Just brings pain.😔

Incredible. To those officers out there right now, just know you have my greatest respect. Thank you for saving my life when I was 13 and I was home alone and my house got broken into. Because of what I’ve gone through in my life I’m going to get my law enforcement degree. Watch your 6. 🚔⚫️🔵⚫️

My name is Shaunda Netherland and I have been a fan of George Strait forever. My daughter and I attended his show on 11-21-19. This made my 27th concert to see him. My husband was Master Trooper/Deputy. His end of watch was June 24th, 2013. He had been in law enforcement for over 32 years. It was a single automobile accident. When this song came out I knew it was written for husband. I knew there was a reason for being a George Strait fan.
