@@PgLangGang you are kind of proving my point. There were multiple moments where Quinn would’ve been sacked that manning either escaped or got the ball out in time to avoid a sack. How did you not? Who has Texas played? As of today they don’t have a win against a Top 25 opponent. Texas is always overrated. Did you not notice because they were in the Big 12? Question being, what actions justified their #1 ranking? It was circumstantial. Also, turning over the call due to their classless fans throwing a tantrum was a big mistake. You’ve released the kraken. A very woke type exchange. Here is a rant: OU and Texas both found out what the difference is between the SEC and the Big 12. Take last year. Texas beat Bama early. Okay, kudos. Then the only other tough opponent they had was OU and they lost. Then they ran through a Big 12 schedule (look at it 🙄) and that gets them in the playoff. Then they lose to Washington. Therefore, they are an immediate national championship contender the next season. When in the Big 12, they had two decent games each year. OU and one other. The rest are second class teams from a talent perspective. But that allows them to finish the season with 1 or 2 losses and there is the illusion. They won the Big 12 4 times in 30 years yet they are perceived as some kind of blue blood program. OU won it 14 times and Baylor 3. Let that sink in. If you really study their Big 12 tenure you’ll see they are the most overrated and overhyped team in college football history. They had one magical season in 2005. Aside from that, they are ultimately mediocre and have done less with more talent than anyone. When you think of the Mack Brown era at Texas you had Vince Young and Colt McCoy with many Top 5 recruiting classes. What an amazing run! Just put on the 2005 natty game eash week and you’ll see!!! Minus that year, how many conference championships did they win during his tenure? One. From 1998-2013. And don’t get me started on their fanbase.

To be fair, the picks aren't all on him. If he's expecting a cut from the receiver in one direction, he has to release the ball ON THAT CUT, or it'll be too late. But sometimes the receiver will misunderstand his assignment and cut the other way, leaving the ball floating in mid-air to get picked. My biggest problem with Beck is his accuracy; he keeps missing his targets. And when he does deliver a good pass, the receivers can't catch it.

I am a horn and I saw it coming. Put $500 on ga to cover. Far too often I've seen how this team plays when they spend a week listening to How Great they are. Quinn is a very average Quarterback and our coach doesn't have the courage to make the needed change so we have more losses ahead of us. Make that money while you can folks. If Quinn is our quarterback in college station bet the farm on A&M because it's going to go a lot like this game

It made a difference having Mykel Williams playing more snaps and back to almost 100%. This allowed Jalon Walker to eat off the floor.

UGA defense was absolutely invincible However, so long as Carson Beck is the QB, they will unlikely advance deep in the playoffs. Beck is barely mediocre - and certainly no 1st round draft pick - maybe he can have a pro career in the Canadian league.

I knew Georgia would win. I didn’t realize how bad Texas was, because with all the hype, I thought they were at least a top 7 team. Georgia has been a top 6 team this year, but last night played as a top 2. Scary good!!!

Texas is lucky they have an easy schedule this year. Georgia and maybe A&M are the only tough teams they play all season.

that game was 2 different games. We got dominated, shell shocked, and Quinn looked rattled GA had a chip on their shoulder the 1st 1/2. But that was not the case the 2nd, besides that trick play their offense couldn’t do anything. Quinn got refocused and we were moving the ball. I’m grateful… that we got punched in the mouth.

Texas was asleep at the wheel. UGA is good but not great. Our line got whipped. The defense balled out. We kept giving them a short field but beck kept giving us the ball.

I being an English Professor reading Shakespeare on the sidelines could win 10 - 12 games a year with the talent of these teams. Hey, there is a great idea. I will trade my acumen in the classroom for the field of the funniest shaped ball with a very unpredictable bounce and become legendary beyond Saban and all the rest.

Winning 10 - 12 games a year won't make you better than Saban. It'll make you Mark Richt.

Look, I love my Dawgs as much as the next fan, but it was reasonable to think Texas would win this game. The Dawgs have been pretty inconsistent by their standards. Beck has been very inconsistent and his wideouts too. And let’s be honest, the running game is not where it should be. The Dawgs showed out of D Saturday - that was their most dominant performance. So, I think the Texas pick was pretty reasonable, but that W was freaking sweet.

Beck had no help, dropped balls and he was way off. If drops weren’t dropped maybe one less INT but no one is talking about the REFS?!? Also, the two targeting calls I need to see how you’re supposed to make the hit when the runner lowers their head? Just chop their knees out and ruin their career??
@macaronitony19917 сағат бұрын
It wasn't his receivers it was him! I'll give him one or two plays where they dropped the ball, the whole game that guy played like he was playing for Texas. And he always looks high so maybe that has something to do with it. But either way I haven't seen anything impressive from Carson Beck since he's been Georgia quarterback
