I'm wondering I have a DAC which can output a fixed 4v balanced line out. Can I feed it to a pairs of KH 80 via XLR cables without a preamp? Do they have built-in volume control?

Should I upgrade my AT2035 to a TLM 102... or even a TLM 103? 🤔

If you have the money, get an additional TLM 103 - you will not regret it, it suits many purposes and is fantastic to colourate with plug ins if wanted and needed. But also the pure, noise free sound is fantastic.
