Worked with these guys in NZ and Aussie on some very interesting jobs, possibly the most exciting work in my 40 year career in piling and foundations, thanks for the chance Anthony and Paul.

Great work guys, I've done more than a bit of drilling while hanging on a rock face but that is taking it to the next level ++. I love the air liftable drill rig as I fully appreciate the difficulty of drilling horizontal holes in such conditions, doing it in the snow is hard enough when you are on the ground, I take my hat off to you. - Dave

If you have a version with no music so we can hear all the guys at work plus what ever the cameras catch that would be great... 👍🏻

Here's what so many youtubes get WRONG: replacing live sound with a sound-track. It completely ruins what could have been a great production.

I can't believe this amazing footage was spoilt by the music, at least the music could have cut for the rock fall.

Agreed... It would be nice to hear a narration of the project and operation instead of that idiotic music

The rock is most likely Gabbro, not Granite. Check out the geological maps of the area. I collected some nice samples of Gabbro at both the eastern and western entrances to the Homer Tunnel.

But the uploader is from Austerburg, Germany! What did ya expect? They listen to crap like that in Germany! It's like their version of what Country Music is to Americans!!!
